"He blackmailed me." She blurted out. "He said if I wasn't his whenever he wanted that he'd tell everyone I was sleeping with him and forcing myself onto him. I'd be expelled or worse-I need to get through high school without any bumps to get a scholarship to get out of this dream-crushing town and away from my father.." She said tears forming in her eyes.
"I had no idea...Has he hurt you?"
"No. He wouldn't..."
He clenched his jaw. "I'm so sorry." He saw as tears gently moved down her cheeks toward the ground. "You deserve someone who knows how to treat you. Someone who opens your car door, who makes you brave and strong and everything you thought you could never be...Someone you love with everything you are...everything you want..."
"I want you." She whispered.
"I need you." He said as he pulled her in and kissed him.
