Chapter 10

"Good morning Captain! Please join us", Shalini asked Rajveer to join the table.

Rajveer smiled a little over her enthusiasm, but took a seat on the table nonetheless.

"I think Capt. aap Dr. Ritu Mishra se ab nahin mile honge so let me introduce you. This is Dr. Ritu Mishra, resident psychiatrist in KMA", Shalini introduced Ritu with a hand gesture.

"Actually we have met Dr. Shalini. Hello Capt. So here we met again", Ritu replied with an enticing smile.

"Yes, we do. Pleased to meet you again. Doc mai coffee lene ja rahan hu, aap logo ko kuch chahiye?", Rajveer asked politely.

"No, we are good", Shalini signed towards their coffee.

"Ok. See you later then", he excused himself.

Waiting for his coffee, he sensed a presence and an automatic smile spread across his face.

"Hello Captain Singh. Good morning!", he said cheerily.

"Good morning! Bade khush lag rahe hai aap? Kyu puch sakti hu?", Naina asked sceptically looking around.

He shrugged in reply.

"Kahi aap bhi usi vajah se to khush nahin jis vajah se sare cadets khush hai?", she asked raising her one eye.

"Sare cadet? Kyu khush hai sab? Brigadier ne Chutti declare kar di hai Kya?", Rajveer said by taking the cup and adding sugar.

"As if he will ever do it...are achanak se KMA ka hotness quotient jo badh gya hai", she said signalling towards Dr. Mishra.

"Ooh...is it! Vaise I though it was already quite high", he said with a teasing voice.

"Please...aap na itne bhi hot nahin hai...thik thak dikhte hai bas", she said rolling her eyes.

"Actually... mai to actually kisi aur ki bat kar rha tha", he said with amusement.

She looked at him for a second and then understood. Rajveer winked at her and left with his cup leaving a fuming Naina behind.

"Kyu yahan apna time waste kar rha hai Beta. You belong in a good college, somewhere outside India. Ye jagah yahan ke log...you deserve much better", Yudi's father Akhil is saying to him.

"Dad....I want to be an Army Officer. Mujhe seriously koi interest nahin hai US jakar MBA karne me ya fir Maa ne jis namuni ko dhundha hai usse shadi karne me", Yudi said in exasperation.

"Acha thik hai. Kuch din kar le training. I am sure ki uske bad tu khud hi kahega mujhe ki Dad mere US jane ka intazam kar dijiye", Akhil said smugly.

"In your dreams Dad", Yudi replied rolling his eyes.

They turned a corner and Akhil's eyes fell on Dr. Ritu.

"Ye kaun hai? Ajkal jab bhi academy ata hu humesha ek naya chehra nazar ata hai", Akhil said thoughtfully.

"Han to Dad...ab naya batch hai to Kuch faculty addition bhi hoga hi.....after all you know this very well that postings are transferable here", Yudi replied.

Akhil didn't noticed much as his eyes are still following Dr Ritu.

Yudi shrugged him which make him come back from his trance.

"Dad agar Mom ne Dekh lia hota na then you would have gone", Yudi said in irritation.

"Shut up.....it isn't like that.....mat bhulo that I am your Dad....don't cross your limits", Akhil said sternly.
