I just watched Kylo from the sides of the ballroom. I was busy sipping my champagne while roaming my eyes. Erwin told me that everything is clear outside. I just had to watch him from the inside.

I continued sipping as I saw Belinda approaching me.

"Hindi ko alam kung anong nagustuhan ni Kylo sa iyo. Mas mayaman naman ako at mas maganda sa iyo."

Tinignan ko lang ito. I didn't understand any word she said.

"Inakit mo ba siya? Pinikot mo? Ano?"

Binigay ko ang champagne glass ko sa dumaan na waiter at kumuha ng bagong glass.

"Ano? Hindi ka sasagot? Siguro pinilit mo lang talaga si Kylo ano? Matagal ko na siyang gusto! Gusto ko si Kylo! Gusto ko si Kylo!"

Namumula na ang mukha nito sa inis. That's probably why I thought she's probably mad or something.

Some people around them are already looking at them. Looks like they are also waiting for me reply.

"Belinda, right?" Nang-uuyam na ngumiti ako rito. "What do you want? Or should I ask, who do you want? Kylo?" Nilapit ko ang bibig sa tainga nito at bumulong.

Namutla ito bigla at umalis. I smirked.

Iinumin ko na sana uli ang champagne nang may bumunggo sa akin.

"What the f-" Naputol ang pagmura ko nang makita ang isang batang babae na nakakapit sa isang hita ko.

"Rosamie!"

Mabilis na lumapit ang isang babaeng may kaliitan. She looked beautiful in her Filipiniana. Nagpaumanhin naman ito sa akin.

"I'm sorry." Binuhat nito ang anak. "Okay ka lang ba? Natapunan ka ba?"

Unlike Belinda, this woman had a more radiant and bright aura. Hindi ko magawang sungitan ito.

"I...don't speak the language."

Looks like she got the idea. "Oh. I'm asking if are you okay? Did my daughter spill anything on your dress?"

Tinignan ko ang champagne glass. Halos hindi naman nabawasan iyon.

"I'm good. No worries."

"That's good to hear. Sorry for my kid's unruly behavior. This is Rosamie. I'm Mutya."

"Mutya...Your name is a bit unique."

"Not in this country." She smiled. "You are?"

"I'm Patch. I came with Kylo."

"Oh...you're the girlfriend. Kylo has been our family friend for a long time."

May isang matangkad din na lalaki na lumapit sa amin. Binuhat nito ang bata na mukhang inaantok na.

"Gavin, si Patch. Girlfriend ni Kylo. Patch, this is my husband Gavin."

I extended her hand. "Nice to meet you both."

"So you're not from the Philippines?"

"I've been to a lot of places but the Philippines. I just arrived a few months ago..." Kahit isang buwan pa lang naman ako roon talaga, I had to keep up with the act.

"I hope you're enjoying the province. We live close by the waterfalls. You should come visit." Sabi ni Mutya sa akin.

"I might take that offer one day."
