Napaigik ako sa higpit ng yakap ni Nanay Carm sa akin. Kylo and I just got home in the province. Ni hindi nito pinansin ang mga pasalubong namin dito na ube at strawberries.

"I thought you will not go home na."

"We're here. Stop crying will you?" alo ko rito.

Hinampas ako nito sa braso. "The vegetables are waiting in the kitchen. You cut it for me."

Ngumiti ako. Kahit pagod ako sa biyahe ay pinagbigyan ko na lang din ito. She must have missed us.

Nagbihis muna ako bago sumama kay Nanay Carm sa kusina. Truth to what she said, the vegetables are ready for me to chop.

"How was your vacation?"

"It's good."

Will she bring up the kiss? No...hopefully not...

"So are you getting married?"

"Wh-What?"

"I saw you two kissing. Are you getting married already?"

"N-no..."

Bumagsak ang mukha nito.  "Okay. But I really like you for Kylo. He really looks happy with you."

"Does he?"

Tumango ito. "He is always serious. Like he has period. But if you are close, he is smiling."

"Is that so?"

Panay ang tango nito. Kinuha na nito ang mga nahati niyang gulay.

"You go up and rest. I will call you when food is ready."

Niyakap ko ito. "Thanks, Nanay Carm."

Nang makapanhik ako sa kwarto ko ay saka ko binasa ang message ni Willa sa akin.

"I have included all the devices in your suitcase. The blueprint is in your email. Kick some old ass, bitch!"

Napangiti ako. I know Willa always have my back.

"Planning something sinister?"

Napatingin ako bigla sa connecting door namin ni Kylo. He was leaning on the doorframe. Looks like he just showered because he had a towel wrapped on his waist. Napalunok ako nang makita ang mga butil ng tubig na tumutulo sa katawan nito.

His body is muscular. I watched him do his routine in the gym sometimes and I'm not shocked that his body is toned. His skin is tanned and flawless. Mas makinis pa ito sa akin. 

"Done checking me out, Pachyderm?"

Namula ang pisngi ko at tinignan ang suitcase ko uli. It has been a while since he called me Pachyderm and I kinda missed it.

"Get dressed, Kylo."

"So what are you up to?"

Pumunta ito sa likod ko at tinignan ang suitcase na nasa harap ko. I can feel his body so close to mine.

"I just brought some toys with me, that's all."

"By toys you mean..."

Binuksan ko ang suitcase and my agent heart leapt for joy. Various gadgets were inside. And also, guns. Very special guns made for close and distant shooting.

"What are you gonna use that for?" He asked, one eyebrow shot up.

"For that dumb old man of course."
