Ink wondered about the other beings. He knew he would never truly understand them as the empty void where his soul should rest would attest. His emotions were limited to whatever paint mixtures he took that day. Things like love and in-depth emotions alluded him.

In any case it has been a long time since he was needed to erase a world. It all started when other worlds were being whipped out without his assist. Then he met a unique looking skeleton who proclaimed himself to wanting to destroy all the abominations.

Ink didn't interfere often since it was over all interesting and gave him less work. He might create aus but resets can cause copies to form and make clutter that could cause all shorts of side affects. He used to destroy them, but with Error around to dispose of them. He only ever really fought him if he went after originals and even then Ink was willing to let some of those die too.

Back to pondering recent history has been taking a turn. For one whatever Blue did had Error do things different. He seemed far more reluctant to fight and was now sporting more scars. Maybe he should take back his old job? Error was really cracking around the edges here and was lagging behind.

His old playmate seemed to have lost the will to fight. And so Ink started the other half of his self appointed job. He picked up the slack and way he went about destroying was even more terrifying. He basically devoured all the energy within the au and it reverted back into a white space. No one knew worlds were now disappearing because their wasn't even time to detect it.

As Ink took back the reigns more and more he saw Error attack less and less. He seemed to have some awareness that someone else was destroying and was stopping his own to match Ink. Finally Ink was the only one destroying and creating.

Though the council seemed apt to blame Error, Ink and Blue were quick to dis-way them. This wasn't the way Error destroyed nor was he capable of doing it instantly. Even Dream had to agree here.

Oh, Ink wondered about the collective intelligence of the council they still had no idea that Error had allies here. Blue was thought to be suffering Stockholm when he tried to explain the balance. Ink would only deny it because there was truly no such thing. He could create as many universe as he wished as long as there was plenty of space put between them.

It was just the mistake of him creating resets that caused the horrible copy appearing affect. He only somewhat fixed that problem of copies appearing with his newest universes.

Then there was Geno, Red, Lust, Reaper, and Fresh who were on Error's side. Classic, Sci, Gsans, Stretch, Swapfell, fellswap, Dream, and others he didn't put much thought towards were members of the council. Birdtale, Candytale, mafiatale, and farmtale just to name a few more.

Ink stood tall in the center of the papers created to represent the universes. His mind wondering on how things went sideways. It seems the council and Dream were convinced that a balance existed and demanded Ink to stop creating. In fact they were contemplating throwing him in prison for lying about the balance and putting them all at risk. Huh....

Being soulless was another horrifying fact that got out by Error's allies. Everyone was fawning over suffering Error while Ink was deemed as someone needing punishment. And Ink, Ink couldn't care less. Because he was fake as could be.

The more emotions he mixed into his vials the more alive he seemed be, but he only slightly had a problem drinking purely one emotion. Mostly because it made him do things without restraint. With just happiness all he can do is smile and laugh at everything.

He stayed away from lust, anger and sometimes affection because he couldn't really afford the consequences. Affection might cause him to become attached to another so it was better to not chance it. He can be attached to things even while off of vials and instinctively possessive.
