The story started just the same. Fate needed someone to take the position of destroyer. But Fate didn't have the ability to give this being immortality to be match to equal Ink's own undying state.
Fate had to search through aus and finally found something in one of Ink's scraped ideas. The core code of this universes sans was actually a Phoenix and the rest of the characters were birds of all kinds. Ink had grown bored with the idea and tossed it.
Taking the immortal creature and destroying its au. The Phoenix screamed in agony as it was forced into the form of a black glitchy eternally crying skeleton. Error was forced to adjust to this new form.
The voices set up by Fate to get him to do his job of destroying aus were driving him insane. So he set off destroying aus with strings and blasters and breaking codes.
Every time he died he would be reborn from ashes back in the anti void. His bones black as the ashes he was reborn in as Fate forcibly set the anti void to be his rebirth point using the strings tied directly to his soul.
