Basically Error, Ink, Dream, and Blue have been in a poly for centuries now. Nightmare and the gang aren't a problem for plot reasons. The four of them were exposed to Sci's malfunctioning au portal. They end up getting transported to another multiverse.

This multiverse is an Fgod one. Where the good sans and bad sans loath each other so when the 4 of them end up their they quickly figure out they are not in their multiverse. They immediately found this place to be extremely fucked up as Error could read the codes of the multiverse with his hacking skills. With the peace of their own multiverse Error had a lot of time to practice skills outside of combat and with his sanity back he had a lot to think about.

Ink could sense how unstable the multiverse was as creativity drowned the aus and Dream could feel the way the emotions were seeping through the universes and making them like a mist of emotions. With how unstable the emotional balances were FgodNightmare had to ingrain entire universes with a permanent negative aura while Fgod Dream tried purging all negativity from the universes to keep them from Nightmare's control.

They are in a pit hole of ignorant idiots and to make matters worse Error might be pregnant.
