Camila Mendes : One Sided Love, or Not?

y/n POV : 

I got it! I got the role on Riverdale! I am playing the role of Jennie, Veronica's love interest. I have watched Riverdale before and Camila is my celebrity crush so I'm very excited to be working with her. I pull out some jeans and a shirt for tomorrow for the first table read. 

I get a message notification from an unknown number. 

Unknown : Hi y/n! It's Madelaine Petsch, I wanted to say congratulations for getting the role and we all can't wait to work with you! 

Me : Thank you! I can't wait either, see you tomorrow!

I put my phone down and try to get some sleep before tomorrow. 

Next Morning

I wake up refreshed and ready to go. I grab my stuff and since I'm a bit early I grab some hot chocolate because I don't really like coffee. I drive to the building where we are doing the reading. 

I grab my stuff and go inside the building showing my ID. There are a few cast members in there and they all introduce themselves as we find our seats. I am seated in between Madelaine and KJ Apa with Camila sitting in front of me however Camila is not here yet. 

"Sorry, I'm late." She says rushing in putting her stuff down before sitting in her chair. 

We begin the table read and when I'm first introduced in the scene Cheryl and Toni flirt with me because they want to try a poly relationship. I don't really interact with Veronica till the next episode but we do make eye contact and she does talk about me to Betty. 

We finish the table read and Madeleine asks me to join her and Morgan to dinner. 

"Sorry but I'm going to see if Camila wants to set up a time to get to know each other since we are going to have more scenes together in the future." I say and she nods. 

"Oh that's a good idea." She says. 

I put on my backpack and rush out to catch up to Camila. 

"Hey, Camila, wait up!" I say catching up to her standing in front of but she looks a bit annoyed. 

"Yes?" She asks. 

"I was wondering when you have some free time so we can get to know each other? It doesn't have to be today though because this is very short notice but maybe sometime this week or-" She then cuts me off.

"Look we are co-stars. Nothing says we have to be friends." She says then walks by me to the parking lot getting into her car and speeding away. 

The fuck I ever do to her?

Oh well. I'll just keep my distance from her. 

Time Skip

Keeping my distance didn't really work because we have many scenes together and I seem to be attracted to her with every minute. She still is however ignoring me the very second the director calls cut. 

"Cut!" The director says and Camila gets off the couch and goes to her trailer. 

"Don't worry y/n, she'll come around." Mad says knowing about my big crush on her. 

"I don't know maybe it's time to try and move on." I say and stand up going to my trailer. 

I go on my phone and eat some fruit snacks. About five minutes later my trailer door is swung open and Camila stumbles onto the floor as the door is slammed behind her. She looks up at me from the floor and smiles awkwardly then gets up brushing off her clothes. 

"Sorry, they uh pushed me in here." She says and goes to leave but stops her hand right before it touches the door. 

"You okay?" I ask carefully. 

"No, I have been acting like a jerk to you since day one and I think you deserve a reasoning." She says and sits down next to me. 

"No it's okay." I say. 

"No it's not. Let me explain from the beginning, when I first saw you I was drawn to you but then I saw you talking with Mads and Morgan and you're character flirting I got jealous. With every scene we did I fell more for you but seeing you with everyone else I just got jealous so I thought distancing myself would help but it hurt more than I thought. Then they all came to me saying you were going to try and move on and I couldn't let that happen without even trying to explain myself. Am I too late? Were they just fuckin with me and this is all one sided love-" I cut her off by kissing her. "Or not?" She says after we pull away. 

She has a big smile on her face. 

"Sorry you were rambling." I say laughing a bit. 

"Well if that's how you shut me up every time I ramble I will definitely do it more often." She says putting her arms around my waist. 

"How about that dinner for us to get to know each that I offered before?" I suggest and her eyes light up. 

"Yes, let's go I'm starving!" She says and I grab my bag as she opens the door seeing our friends outside. 

"WELL?!" They all shout. 

"We're going to dinner right now, details later." She says and grabs my hand. 

"I wanna come! I'm hungry!" KJ says and Morgan slaps his arm shutting him up. 

We drive to a burger joint and eat in her car talking about all our interests and such. The whole time we kept talking for a solid 3 hours but felt like 5 minutes. We ended the night with a kiss as she dropped me off at my apartment. 

Now every time we film a seen with Mads and Morgan she gets more protective then how her character usually was which the director loves. 

I used to think this was a one sided love but I am so happy she proved me wrong and had the courage to confess to me.
