Jisoo received various files from Chaeyoung about game ideas. For example, for one she wrote down a draft of a storyline where the main character would be an old woman and the setting is in a forest.

Jisoo could make it a jump and run game by coding it so that the world keeps expanding when a corner is reached. Or she makes it so that when the player reaches the end of the layer, he will be moved back to the beginning, apearing as if he's running endlessly. For the latter option they'd have to think of it more in order for it not be boring.

She has done a jump and run before so she could just use the code and improve it. While Jisoo was excitedly typing on the keyboard of her computer, her mother knocked on her door and told her Jennie was waiting outside.

So Jisoo saved her progress and went out with her backpack and jacket. "Good morning." Jisoo greeted, flashing her best friend a smile.

"Hi Jichu." Jennie held out her hand and the other automatically grabbed it. They walked with clasped hands to their school. Jennie was wearing a facial mask and sunglasses again. There wasn't a change in her behaviour, so Jisoo didn't note it verbally once again.

During their way to school, Jisoo told Jennie about a nationwide competition where they could submit video games they programmed themselves. It would be an actual club activity and they would be taken seriously as a club. Maybe it can even help to make connections with real game developers.

"Wait," Jisoo stopped in the middle of her excited rant that Jennie didn't interrupt, she just smiled at her and listened. "You want to become a game developer, right?"

Jennie swang their arms and nodded her head. Jisoo knew that the brunette wasn't exactly burning with passion for it unlike her and Chaeyoung. She wondered if she was dragging her into something she wasn't interested in.

"I want to do what you are doing." Jennie shrugged.

"There isn't anything you want to do?" Jisoo raised a brow, noticing that she doesn't know too much about the things Jennie likes, sure she knows she likes dumplings, strange animals, avocados and of course hugging and clinging on people. But that doesn't answer what Jennie wishes for herself in her future.

"Same answer as before. Why? You think that's not enough?" Jennie kicked a pebble.

"I don't know, yes? Maybe?" Jisoo responded, slowing down her pace. "What about your parents? Are they pressuring you into any path?"

Jennie winced for a moment, she pulled a face before she chuckled. "They won't mind. I can do whatever I want."

"That's nice." Jisoo responded, relieved. She would still have to prove herself to her parents if she wanted their support. A win for this competition could convince them that she wasn't chasing an impossible dream.
