"Don't you think that's enough-"

"No."

Jennie denied Lisa's concerns and continued drinking glass after glass. She chugged it down and slammed it on their table.

"There is no need for this. You don't have to drink your sorrows away." Lisa let out a sigh as she leaned back into her red chair.

"It's just milk, Lisa." Jennie rolled her eyes at her friend as the waiter arrived with more glasses of warm milk that she ordered.

"Still, if you told Jisoo you want to be her girlfriend, she wouldn't say no." Lisa told her with certainty.

She didn't push the subject any further. Even though she didn't quite know why Jennie wouldn't just confess. She could only imagine that she was uncertain because Jisoo was so invested into her games, that she might not think she had the time to date.

In Lisa's case it was different. She was working steadily on being closer to Chaeyoung. They are already friends, so it's only a matter of time until they are married and adopt seven cats.

After another glass, Jennie changed the topic. "So Lisa, what do you have planned for later?"

"I'm helping my parents with work. We have a big catering job tomorrow." Lisa explained, remembering she couldn't play games the entire day.

"Do you need another waitress?" Jennie inquired, sounding interested.

"You want to work?" Lisa's eyebrows rose and she stared at her suspiciously.

"I'm saving up money for college." Jennie shrugged her shoulders.

Well, that's a responsible thing to do. So Lisa accepted the proposal, her parents would most likely also agree with her.

"So who is the client?"

"Park Industries."

For some reason Jennie's eyes widened. As if she heard that name before and recognised it. Her reaction made Lisa curious, so she waited waited for her friend to explain.

"That's the firm of Chaeyoung's family." Jennie exclaimed.

Oh. Lisa was startled by that but not in a negative way.

"That's great! Do you think Chaeyoung will be there?" Lisa smiled enthusiastically.

"She doesn't really want to work in their firm, so I don't know."

Right. She told Lisa about that too. She was sure to see her family but maybe Chaeyoung herself won't appear. Lisa will still keep her hopes up to coincidentally encounter.
