Accompanying Chaeyoung to her family's event was an easy task for Jisoo. She picked out a random dress (which turned out to be a pink lace cap-sleeve dress) and cracked a few jokes. That's literally all she had to do. When Chaeyoung went to her parents, Jisoo was bored though.
She was already told it would be rude to play video games while she was here, so she didn't even think of that. Just when her boredom hit its peak, she recognised a familiar girl, serving the guests.
The sight made her smile. She walked forward and cleared her throat, pretending like she also wanted a glass of chamapgne.
"Coming." The waitress didn't even look at her as she handed out the glass, she was probably that busy during this event.
"Thanks." Jisoo took it, holding back a giggle.
Then the brunette girl glanced at her as she heard her voice.
"Chu?" Jennie questioned, wondering if she was really here or if she was just missing her.
"Yep." Jisoo nodded, being glad to that her friend was here as well. Her company makes everything better for her.
"Hold on..." Jennie's eyes flickered to the glass in her hands before she snatched it and handed it to another guest, earning a pout in return.
"Sorry but no alcohol for you." Jennie reprimanded, shaking her head.
"Then what do I drink?" Jisoo tilted her head questioningly.
"Hm, green tea? That's healthy enough." Jennie suggested.
"At least you didn't say one of those green drinks you blend together." Jisoo sighed in relief since normally Jennie just blends vegetables together and tries to make her drink it as well, saying it's good for her.
"Maybe another time." Jennie smiled.
The two continued to chat with each other. According to Jennie she was almost done with her shift anyway.
Jisoo waited for Chaeyoung but when they saw what played out between her, her parents and Lisa, they figured there was no point in staying. She and Lisa seemed to handle the situation on their own and would leave together.
"Well, I didn't expect Lisa to step up like that." Jisoo noted in surprise as she sat on the back of Jennie's bicycle, she wrapped her arms around the brunette and closed her eyes as the other pedalled.
"I did. She is whipped for Chaeyoung." Jennie argued.
Jisoo chuckled, agreeing with her. They did message their friends and asked them if everything was all right to which they responded with a yes.
Feeling at ease and comfortable as she always does around Jennie, Jisoo cuddled closer to her. Jennie froze for a second but recovered quickly as her eyes were glued on the road.
