Jaemin's POV

What is it now? I wasn't even able to get my coffee yet. This better be important.

"We have bad news"

Chenle just released the bomb as soon as everyone was gathered for the meeting.

"Lia is dropping out of the competition"

Doesn't seem like much of a bad news

"Why?" Jisung asked, actually concerned.

"Something about not having enough time cause she's involved with some club activities"

"It's fine. She was supposed to do the outline for the budget proposal but I never thought se would finish it anyways so I did it just in case," Ryujin reassured everyone.

"Alright then, crisis averted" Chenle said with a cute gestured to which Jisung smiled widely.

He is definitely whipped.

Jaemin thought referring to Jisung.

"Since we're all here already, why not we discuss what we have for now?"

"Alright, I'll go first," Jaemin voiced out for the first time and walked through his ideas.

"For the marketing aspect, Yeji has some good ideas"

Then, Yeji talked through her task, backed up by budget approvals from Ryujin.

Lastly, Ryujin gave her proposal of the financial outline.

"That's leaves the both of us" Jisung said signaling to Chenle and himself.

"Right! Jisung and I were discussing about our motto. We were thinking about 'Why so mean? Just go Green' or 'Don't worry, we got you eco-friendlied'"

"What do you guys think?"

"I like the second one better"

"Me too! It relates to Ecofy"

"It's decided then"

"Also we were thinking about how we wanted our group to stand out and we thought we should make a short video survey about what people on campus thought about environmental issues and work from there," Jisung explained.

"That's a good idea. It also works well for marketing our products later on," Yeji chipped in.

"I could help with the video graphing" Jaemin offered.

"That would be nice. We'll have to finish the video by tomorrow so that we can prepare for the next day," Chenle told Jaemin.

"I could do that"

"I guess that's all for now. Jisung and Jaemin, see you guys tomorrow. Yeji and Ryujin, yall can prepare the presentation material for both your parts"

"Alright, see you guys"

With that, the group dispersed except Jisung and Chenle who walked together towards the a cafe.

I'm pretty sure they're gonna be dating by the end of this competition.

Finally. Time to get my coffee.

As Jaemin was walking back home after his classes, he stopped by at a convenient store that just opened two days ago.

Jaemin doesn't usually go to shops that he doesn't frequent but this store just happens to be at the right place at the time.

This place is pretty nice. There's also not much people here as compared to the one on campus. Just what I like.

"Hey there!" a boy with a muscular built and the cutest eye smile that Jaemin has ever seen appeared in front of him.

He's cute

Jaemin remained quiet. He took a canned coffee from the refrigerator and headed to the cashier. The cashier continued to stare him up and down while smirking.

What's his deal?

When Jaemin asked for the receipt, the cashier took some time before actually giving it to him.

What's this? A phone number?

What a flirt! Now I have a reason to never come here again

Jaemin turned around to look at the cashier one last time. He saw him looking right at him with the widest smile in the world.

Jisung's POV

Jisung and Chenle were studying quietly in the library.

He's always so focused. And the little nose scrunch. And his glasses.

Should I ask him if we can alk home again today?

"Hey, wanna walk home together later?" Jisung asked.

"Sure! Let me just finish this last question"

"Alright!" Jisung said while slowly placing his head on Chenle's shoulder.

"Why is your ears so red? Are you sick?"

"What?! No! It's always like that"

"It's cute,"

Chenle blushed profusely.

"Look! It's getting darker"

"No it's not. Your ears are turning red"

They both started laughing quietly but neither of them knew why.

Just then, a group of people walked pass them snickering and yelling loudly.

Those must be the guys in my class.

"Hey, it's a library. Can you guys keep it down?" Jisung scolded the guys.

"Sure whatever, nerd" the guy at the center of the group, who also seemed to the leader replied.

Jisung just rolled his eyes at them while they walked away into a private room in the library.

"I hate that guy," Chenle said as soon as they left.

"Who?"

"Haechan. The one in the middle with brown hair and long legs"

"The loudest one?"

"Yup. Him"

"Why?"

"I would tell you but it's a really long story"

"I'm free anyways"

"We go way back. We used to be best  friends since we were four. We would hang out all the time. At eight, I met this other guy who stayed at my neighbourhood for a month or so. I started hanging out with him and lost touch with Haechan. I thought it didn't affect him but apparently it did. Two years later, we got into a huge fight and he started spreading rumors about me"

"What kinda rumors?" Jisung asked.

"I can't tell you"

"Why not?"

"I just don't want to okay," Chenle slightly lashed out.

"Alright, I'm sorry"

Silence fell between them. Jisung shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

After a minute or two, he got up and was ready to leave but before he could Chenle held his arm.

"I'm sorry," Chenle apologised softly.

"It's fine. I shouldn't have been intrusive,"

"No. I'm just not comfortable talking about it"

"I understand. Still wanna walk home together?"

"Of course"
