Chenle woke up surprisingly happy that morning. It was pretty obvious what made him happy. or should I say who.
"Chenle! Are you ready yet?" Chenle's mother called out from the kitchen.
"Yes mom,"
Chenle came down from his room into the kitchen to bit his parents goodbye and immediately out the door.
"Chenle! Have your breakfast. How are you supposed to focus in class without breakfast?"
"Don't worry, mom. I'm having breakfast with my friends,"
"Chenle always focuses in class, honey. He knows better than to slack off," Chenle could hear his father saying. Hearing that made him slightly upset because he is just expected to be good at school. His parents never once asked him what he wanted to do but Chenle has always assumed that it is best to obey his parents.
As he arrived, he met up with Jisung and the two had breakfast at the cafe on campus.
"Hey, who's that?" Chenle asked pointing towards two boys walking towards the cafe.
"Isn't that your brother, Mark?" Jisung asked as if it was obvious.
"I know, dummy. I was talking about the one walking with him,"
On the other hand, Haechan and Mark were planning on having breakfast together as well because both of their classes start at twelve.
"Should we hold hands?" Haechan held out his hand with his puppy eyes.
"Not on campus. What if someone sees us?" Mark slapped his hand.
"I don't care,"
"By the way, why are you wearing a cap?" Mark asked curiously.
"Can't let this pretty face get sunburned," Mark just rolled his eyes at him.
As they got closer to the cafe, Mark saw someone he shouldn't have.
"Hide!"
"What? Why..."
Before Haechan could finish what he was saying, Mark had already dragged him to an empty alley just behind the cafe.
"Chenle was at the cafe,"
"Your brother, Chenle?"
"Your best friend, Chenle"
"Ex-best friend" Haechan corrected him.
"Why did you guys fight?" Mark asked.
"It's a long story. I'll tell you another day,"
"Alright. Do you wanna wait until they leave?"
"No. Let's go to another cafe. I'll bring you there,"
Mark pouted but Haechan didn't know why.
"How do you know so many cafes around here? Who do you go out with, huh?"
"Awww are you jealous, Markie?" Haechan teased.
"No I'm not... Get down," Mark pulled Haechan down to hide behind a car as he saw Chenle and Jisung leaving the cafe.
"All these running and hiding makes me feel like you're a forbidden love," Haechan said, looking directly at Mark's lips, then to his eyes.
"Really? Do you like it?" Mark asked, licking his lips while staring at Haechan's.
Haechan didn't reply. Instead he leaned in and kissed Mark.
"Sorry," Haechan said getting a little shy after pulling away.
