The next day, the participants were given two days to make any adjustments, get to now their competitors and prepare for their final pitch. Ecofy were brainstorming on ideas for their pitch when their new advisor approached them.
"Hey, guys. You're Ecofy, correct?" a male in his 20s chatted them up to which the group nodded.
"I'm Johnny. I'll be your coordinator or what do they call that... advisor? Right. Care to tell me about what you guys are working on,"
"Hi, Johnny. I'm Chenle and this are my teammates, Jisung, Jaemin, Ryujin and Yeji. We're working on a project to encourage the consumption of eco-friendly products as a substitute for everyday items..."
Chenle explained the framework of their business and caught him up on how they have been doing. The rest of the team addressed their concerns on specific areas where they could use advice from a professional. Johnny was indeed very helpful and the team were more than prepared by 5pm. Hence, Jisung suggested that they finished early so that they can rest well and rehearse the pitch the next day.
"Where do you guys wanna go?" Yeji asked as soon as Johnny left.
"Let's have dinner and go shopping for a bit," Ryujin suggested and the group agreed.
After having dinner at a posh restaurant they stumbled upon, the group split up for a while. Jaemin, Yeji and Jisung went to a gadget store while Chenle and Ryujin went shopping for clothes.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Chenle said while Ryujin was still trying on an outfit in the fitting room.
"Shoot!"
"How did you know you liked Yeji? I mean you guys have been friends so long. Did you like her since then or was it something that clicked?"
"Actually, it was nothing at all," as if on cue, Ryujin walked out of the fitting room.
"What do you mean?"
"Perhaps it's that feeling when you feel empty without the other and you'll do everything within your power to not be apart,"
"That makes sense. Do your parents know?"
"Yea but Yeji's parents don't,"
"And are you okay with that?" Chenle asked.
"I am. It's between her and her parents. I'm going to pressure her or anything. I trust that she'll do it when she's ready. What about you? Do your parents know about Jisung and you?"
"No. They'll kill me if they even know I'm dating. I'll probably tell them once I graduate,"
"Are you serious?"
"Yea, my parents are strict,"
"Maybe you can drop them hints. What about your brother? Doesn't he bring home girls that he's dating?"
"My brother's gay. That's one of the reasons my parents push all their expectations on me,"
"Well, don't let them. It's your life. You can do what ever you want,"
"You're right. I'm working on taking ownership of my life. The old me wouldn't even dream about being with Jisung,"
"I'm happy for you, Chenle,"
"Me too, Ryujin,"

Meanwhile, the trio were kinda awkward because it was their first time hanging out alone.
"So... what games do you play?" Jisung asked Yeji.
"Genshin, Valorant, PUBG, stuff like that,"
"Cool. How about you Jaemin?"
"Minecraft, Roblox, Fortnite. You?"
"Umm... Subway Surf? That counts, right?" Jisung replied, unsure. Jaemin and Yeji laughed.
"I heard you visited your dad yesterday. Chenle told me. How are you holding up?" Yeji asked, concern laced in her voice.
"Oh! I'm fine I guess. It was just that I haven't seen him since the time at the court so it was a little awkward," Jisung was taken aback by the question but didn't mind confiding in his friends.
"I get it. Being awkward with you dad, I mean," Jaemin joined the conversation.
"Sorry bout saying this in front of you, Yeji, but I'm happy that they finally got a divorce," Jisung said.
"Don't worry. I'm not going to say stuff like at least you have a father or anything. I understand that we're in totally different situations," Yeji replied.
"I guess that's what connects us. The fact that we have, not daddy issues, but dad issues," Jaemin commented while the rest of them chuckled, lightening the mood.

"You were looking at him. You were checking him out. I saw you,"
"Jisung... I wasn't checking him out. I was looking at the puppy he had. Besides, you were with Jaemin and Yeji. You wouldn't have seen it right,"
"Does that mean you were checking out more guys while I was away?"
Jisung was pouting. He went to lie down on the bed, giving Chenle the silent treatment.
"Come on... don't be jealous. You know I only have eyes for you," Chenle tried to persuade Jisung, who didn't say a word.
Chenle grew frustrated so he decided to tease the younger to get him to speak. He sat down close to Jisung on the bed and said,
"Come on, baby. Why would I be checking someone out who's not you?"
Jisung was confused at first because it was the first time hearing Chenle speak so affectionately towards him. But caught on to what Chenle was playing at sooner than expected. Jisung remained silent, seeing how far he could play this game.
"Jisungie... aren't you gonna talk to me? Then who's going to guide me around the country? Do I have to find someone new?" Chenle laid down beside Jisung.
Jisung was on the edge of giving up but he didn't want Chenle to know that he was weak-hearted so he got up and was about to go to another room when a tiny hand grabbed his arm.
"Where are you going? I wanted to spend the night with you,"
That did it. Jisung gave up. He got on the bed to hover over Chenle.
"You shouldn't say things like that," Jisung groaned. Chenle almost didn't recognize the boy on top of him. His eyes turned dark while his voice dropped a few octaves. He seemed much more dominant than he usually was. Chenle wouldn't admit it but this change of character made him curious. He wanted to get to know this side of Jisung.
"And what if I do?" Chenle replied, looking at Jisung with those innocent eyes that showed his least innocent thoughts.
"Then you'll get this," Jisung attacked the smaller with kisses all over his face making Chenle laugh uncontrollably.
"Stop... I give up," Chenle finally said.
"Chenle. Have I told you how addictive you are?"
"Addictive?"
"Yea. I can't stop thinking about kissing you whenever I'm with you," Jisung said, looking at Chenle's lips.
"Do it then,"
As though Jisung was waiting to hear those words, he immediately attached his lips on Chenle's. They kissed intensely. It was more passionate than any other kisses they had before.
Chenle caressed Jisung's waist underneath his shirt and Jisung pulled away. He immediately attacked Chenle's neck leaving butterfly kisses. He proceeded to suck on the softest spot on Chenle's neck and Chenle unconsciously let out a breathy moan. Jisung was pleasantly surprised.
"Jisung... I want you," Chenle said, between breaths.
"Are you sure?" Jisung whispered, to which Chenle just nodded.
