Chapter 17

"You guys are early," Chenle said walking towards Yeji and Ryujin after saying his goodbyes to his parents. 

"See! I told you," Ryujin hit Yeji's arm.

"What do you mean 'early'? We're already thirty minutes late. Everyone knows you have to be at least three hours early for an international flight," Yeji defended herself. 

Just as the pair were bickering, Jisung arrived. 

"Hey, are you guys excited?" Jisung asked the group. 

"Hell yeah. It's my first time overseas. I'm going to make the most out of it," Ryujin exclaimed. 

"By the way, where's Jaemin?" Chenle asked. 

"Must be running late, as usual," Yeji commented. 

As if he had heard them, Jaemin walked towards the group with an offended expression. 

"I'm hear. You can stop gossiping now," he said but instead of focusing on his words, the four of them were more interested in the person standing behind him. 

"Aren't you gonna introduce him to us?" Jisung asked out of curiosity. 

"Oh right. Guys, this is Jeno. He is..." 

"Jaemin's boyfriend," Jeno finished his sentence for him. "His parents were busy so I drove him here," 

Jaemin could've died of embarrassment at that moment if it wasn't for Ryujin who broke the silence. 

"Jeno. Good to see you again. I hoped Jaemin would've introduced you to us earlier but knowing him, this is pretty soon," 

"Ryujin, it was all thanks to you. I see you confessed to the girl you like too?" Jeno replied looking at Yeji. 

"Wait, Yeji and you are a thing? Why didn't you tell us?" Jisung asked. 

Ryujin gave Jeno the stink eye while Yeji explained, "Well... we wanted to tell you guys on the plane but now you know," 

"Since everyone is opening up, I think you guys should know something too," Jisung said as Chenle tried to cover his mouth. 

"You're dating Chenle!" Ryujin, Yeji and Jaemin said in unison. 

"How did you guys know?!" 

"Please, it was so obvious. A blind person would know that you guys were attracted to each other. We were just waiting for you guys to realize that," Ryujin replied as Jisung and Chenle's faces turned red. 

"Hey, look! Boarding's open. Let's go," Chenle tried to change the subject.

During the flight, most of them slept the whole way because they were too excited that they didn't get any sleep the night before. However, Jisung and Chenle were thinking about a few things. 

"Hey, now that everyone knows, do you think we can like be all lovey dovey in public?" Jisung asked Chenle who just finished watching a movie and was looking for some snacks. 

"We already do that now," Chenle replied

"No really. You still refuse to hold hand or speak to me nicely in public," 

"Really? It's probably because I'm just shy. But I promise I won't refuse if you initiate,"

"So you wouldn't mind it if I kiss you right now?" Jisung asked, looking at Chenle with big puppy dog eyes. 

"What?! Jisung Park! Don't you dare do it," Chenle said in a high pitch. 

"I thought you wanted me to take initiative," Jisung said, bringing his face closer to Chenle.
