Chapter 19

Jisung's POV 

Is that how it feels like? I hope he's fine though. He's still asleep. 

Jisung back hugged the boy beside him and kissed the back of his neck. That caused the smaller to stir awake. Jisung cuddled closer to him causing Chenle to whine softly. 

"Did you not have enough?" Chenle spoke, with a raspy voice to which the other chuckled. 

"Are you okay? Does it hurt a lot?" Jisung asked, concerned. 

Chenle turned around, now facing the other. 

"Jisung?" 

"Hmm?" 

"I really enjoyed last night," Chenle said. Jisung's heart skipped a beat. He could see the outlines of his smile even in the dark. 

Did he really mean that?  Or is he just saying it to not hurt my feelings? 

"Are you sure? I'm not experienced. You probably had better," Jisung started rambling, avoiding eye contact. 

"Jisung... that was my first time," Chenle replied, shyly trying to meet the other's eyes. 

"Oh," Jisung was speechless. 

"And you were great," Chenle reassured. The couple cuddled and drifted back to sleep. 

He really is an angel.

Jaemin's POV 

Should I call him? Why am I in this situation again? I just called him yesterday. Jaemin, get a grip. You're just away for a week. And you've only been dating him for two months. 

Shit, but I miss him. Should I just put my pride away for a second and call him? 

Jaemin was lying on his bed, finger hovering over the 'Call' button. It was the day of their presentation and Jaemin was dressed for the occasion but he thought he must do something before that. 

Just then, the doorbell to his room rang. Jaemin got up to check who it was but the hallway was empty from the eye hole. 

It can't be him, right? 

Jaemin opened the door. Ryujin and Yeji came jumping out of nowhere. 

"Oh my God! What are you guys doing here?" Jaemin exclaimed. 

"Bet you thought it was your boyfriend," Ryujin teased and Jaemin visibly blushed, ashamed that he was so predictable. 

"That only happens in the movies. Plus only rich people do that," Yeji added. 

"Why are you guys here?" Jaemin asked. 

"We just thought you wanted to join us for breakfast. Jisung and Chenle are still asleep," Ryujin replied. 

"Alright. Let me just make a phone call. I'll be with you guys in two minutes," Jaemin said and the pair left to wait at the lobby.

Ecofy and Aespa, the team from Korea University, arrived at the auditorium earlier than they expected. It was filled with staffs running around setting up the venue. As they didn't want to bother them, the contingent from Korea decided to wait at the cafeteria as some of them had not had breakfast. 

"Are you guys nervous?" Chenle asked the group led by Karina. 

"We are. But we did prepare for this so we are quite confident," Karina replied.
