Choi Misun
When both of my parents finished dinner, I was still eating but I knew that my mother was waiting for me somewhere in the castle so I took my sweet time with eating to push our interaction further away but I couldn't sit here and eat forever.
After I finally had a clean plate in fromt of me, a maid walked in few minutes later to take it from me. I put it all on one place so she didn't have to walk around me too much and left with a bow.
I hoped that Dorothy was somewhere behind the door waiting for me but I had a feeling that it wasn't possible at the moment. My mother probably told her she will accompany me to wherever I want to go and that she is off to do her other duties than to take care of me.
As expected, when I walked out of the dining room my mother was seated at one of the sofas that are in the halls of our castle. I never understood why someone would put them there but I guess my mother had a use of it.
"Mother." I greeted her with a forced smile while she walked towards me.
"Let me walk you to your chambers, Misun." My mother said and it was as clear as a day that there was no room for arguments in this.
"I was about to go into my library, mother. I am not tired as of now." I announced and she looked at me in a weird way but then gave me a nod and started walking with me towards the library.
There was silence surrounding us for few moments and that made a slight fear and worry go off in my head but my mother soon spoke.
"Why did you offer that poor boy to teach you how to play the piano?" My mom softly spoke but the tone of her voice was still as hateful as it is when we are all alone.
"Father actually offered him the position to become my teacher because he heard how talented the boy is. You yourself told him that you would have offered him the same spot if you knew about it so I don't understand why you are making this a big matter, mother." I answered, putting my hands behind my back.
"I love to help people but doesn't your father think that he doing more than enough already? We have him as one of our servants and being your teacher is another thing to add to his day."
"He did not pressure him into anything. Yoongi accepted the spot by his own decision and I am sure that if he didn't want to do this, he wouldn't. I also think that he actually appreciates it, mother. His work was around music and this way he can continue chasing his dreams." I argued.
Yoongi wasn't pressured into anything and that was the truth. Although I was ecstatic that he agreed to teach me, he didn't have to do this. He told me himself that he wanted to share his knowledge with other people and I think that it's admirable that he has a heart like that.
"Don't you think it's useless? I don't think that you are capable of learning how to play the piano at the age that you are. I started learning when I was young and you are halfway to being thirty years old. You won't learn anything. You will still be useless anyways and-"
