"Yoongi," I let out, surprised at his presence. I didn't expect for him to come and knock on my library door after he left before Dorothy told me that he came to bring her to me. "What are you doing here?"
"I am really sorry to interrupt your..." he paused, looking behind me at the shelves of books, "...I think reading session, Your Highness, but I wanted to come and ask you if you were okay." He said, looking shy at his own words.
My heart started to beat a little bit faster after he said that. I had to look down at the floor, fixing the skirt of my dress. There were two things going on in my head. He wants to know if I am alright and he noticed that there was something wrong with my mood when he saw me just standing in front of the palace, watching Lian leave.
"I apologize if a servant isn't supposed to be concerned about this but curiousity got the best of me and I had to come here and ask. I am sorry, Your Highness." He quickly added, making sure if this is or isn't allowed when he saw my puzzled expression and me hanging my head down. He did ask a similar thing the day I got to know about his piano skills. It was adorable how he didn't want to break any servant rules.
"No, that's quite alright, Yoongi. I was shocked when I saw you." I addmited, finally looking up at him so see him looking unsure of his actions now. "I am okay, Yoongi. You don't have to worry about anything." I lied, trying my hardest to put on a believable smile.
Yoongi carefully looked over my face to detect wheter I was lying or not and I could practically see the moment he knew he shouldn't believe me.
"With all the respect, Your Highness, I think you are lying right now." He insisted, looking straight into my eyes. "Are you okay, Your Highness? You don't have to answer but I think that it is always better to talk about your problems with someone rather than to keep it to yourself." He suggested, looking at me with a soft look in his eyes.
I stayed with my eyes on his for a while before looking down the hallways. My thought of few options on what I could do right now. I was debating, weighing down each one of them. I also took in his words. I was leaning towards one so I could either tell him to go away and let me be for now or...
"Do you want to come inside? I think I would like to take your offer of talking right now." I m spoke quietly. I was mainly debating whether I sould or shouldn't invite him inside of my personal library. It is my safe space and I wasn't sure if I wanted another person other than my ladies or anyone that I had to speak to in private but I felt a need to invite him in if we were to talk about my feelings.
"If you don't mind then I would like to be the one who you want to talk right now, Your Highness. I have finished all of my afternoon duties as fast as possible to come and ask you." He agreed with a nod. I stepped aside and opened the door wider so he could walk in. He hesitated for few moments but then made sure steps inside.
