"You can't even imagine. Lord Joshi wrote me a letter!" Lian exclaimed happily.
"Was there anything interesting in the letter? Was he talking about his big mansion?" Talia teased Lian with her own words to which said lady scoffed.
"Oh, please. You know men aren't to be writing about their mansions to anyone unless they are their wife, mistress or simply a lover. A lady to court does not get the privilege of knowing." Lian winked at us.
From what she has told us, lord Joshi has written Lian a letter the night after the ball. He claimed he wanted to ask her for a dance but then the night was over once he got the courage to ask her for one. He said he hoped she would be at the next ball and after that one letter, they started to converse through them, saying they will have to meet properly for the first time at the ball.
"Sometimes I wish you should not have discovered the books, but then none of us would have so I stop wishing for it." I took a sip of my tea.
We decided to meet today in my chamber's tea room since Katherine's wedding was nearing and we wanted for all of us to be together as much as we possibly could because none of us know certainly whether Kat will still be here in a month or she'll be in Italy. Although subconsciously, we knew the answer and that is why we spend so much time together now.
"You're one to talk, Your Highness. If anyone were to know about what your private library contains, you would be doomed," Lian scoffed, teasing smile on her face.
"Excuse me? I can tell you if that happened, many young men would be even more interested in me. Imagine having a wife who wasn't sheltered from the topic of certain activities and will probably know what she is doing."
My mind took me back to Yoongi and I after saying it.
In the past two weeks from the bathroom situation, we only did similar things twice, both in the music room. Yoongi even managed to play the piano with one hand while playing another instrument, me, with the other. He played to cancel out my noises and if anyone were to walk in, we were sitting beside each other. He would only have to retrieve his hand fast and nothing would happen. While we are being careful, we just couldn't help ourselves those few times.
"Well most men do not get the privilege of having experienced wives because the books we read would have been more popular and out of reach for us. Thankfully, I only know the three of you who else read the books," Lian stated. It was true.
I know many young girls. My mother aranged meeting with them when I was younger so I could find my group of ladies. But my group has already been formed by then and I couldn't be any more happier about it.
"I think it's better many girls don't know about it. As much as we are all glad to have found out about this intimacy through some source, I think the men we are going to marry would or will be suspicious of how we are so skilled in it if we still have our innocence. If they were bad men, I can't imagine how they would react to it," Talia whispered almost sadly.
