Choi Misun
Today was the day of another one of our well known balls where I am supposed to pick my future husband.
Lovely, isn't it?
All of my friends come to our castle few hours before the time that the ball starts. It became a tradition for all of us after two months of my father planning these formal events so we could catch up with each other and talk about what we want to happen at the ball.
Usually, my answer is the same. I wish for there to not be any arrogant men. Talking with men like that is always a prude because all they talk about is how I need a good husband or how they are suitable for the throne.
If any of the men says something like that sentence he is immediately scratched from the list of people I want to invite next. My father of course has an upper hand but when I tell him about their personality, he understands why I don't want them there and doesn't send any more invitations for him or his family. It might seem rude to some but I disagree with that.
Right now I was with Talia, Katherine and Lian in my chamber. Our ball-gowns laid on my huge bed and waited for their time to be put on while we were talking in my private tea room. I only ever invite my closest friends in here because we sometimes talk about things that we do not want anyone else to hear so Dorothy brings the tea and goes away.
I trust Dorothy. The main reason for that is because she has been with me since I was a young girl and because we have a small age gap between us it feels like a friendship more than princess and her maid. She of course does duties that my parents told her to do but if I can I always let her off the hook. I am not a baby and I can do lots of things myself. She is ordered to do lots of stuff for me by my parents and she can't say no to them so I just get on with those things. But I am still quite skeptical about letting her listen to our conversations.
"So, Misun," Lian clapped her hands together to pull my attention towards her. My eyes looked up at her from my tea and I gave her a nod so she could speak. "I have heard that there is someone new in the castle. Some servant, if I remember correctly."
She has a smirk on her face while saying the sentence and that gives off that Katherine and Talia must have told her about the encounter we had with Yoongi in the garden.
"I also heard that he is quite the sight for eyes." She quickly added with a wiggle of her eyebrows and I had to roll my eyes at her. She has men wrapped around her pretty fingers and she does appreciate them a lot. If they are gentlemanly, that is.
"My guess is that the source of your information are these two ladies?" I pointed between Talia and Katherine who immediately looked away, pretending as if they were innocent. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle at their actions and soon enough I saw both of them having smug smiles on their faces.
