Mistake of a Heartbeat

We are going home to La Vistancia these Holidays and unfortunately Damien and I won't be spending both Christmas and New Year together though video call is a click away.

Damien will be flying to the US where his family is at, they mostly spend holidays in the states and goes back after. He will be flying tomorrow because Christmas are just days after now. Habang kami naman ni Kuya Nick ay bibiyahe na din bukas pa La Vistancia after lunch.

Hindi na namin ihahatid pa si Dame sa airport dahil ayaw niya no'n at syempre ayaw ko din. I don't want to see anyone go away from me or leave me.

Tonight, we will be having dinner here at Damien's penthouse. The five of them with the girls of Dominic and Thomas at ako.

Ang Christmas party sa company nila ay tapos na nung nakaraan pa pero hindi ako sumama dahil hindi naman ako empleyado doon.

"Let's just wait for the pizza, then we'll eat na," Greyson said.

"Did you bring your gifts?" Tanong ni Kuya. Silang lima lang ata nagbunutan kasi hindi naman ako informed.

"Yeah." Walang ganang sagot ni Dominic.

"Lima lang kayong nagbunutan?" Nanunuya kong sabi sa kanila kaya napatigil din pati yung mga babae.

"Of course I have a gift for you my dear, Sebastian." Parang batang sabi ni Kuya.

"Oh, thank you, Kuya. Though I don't have one for you," Natatawa ko nang sabi kaya napa-tsk na lang siya.

"Ambait mo talagang bata ka." Dagdag pa niya.

"Okay, the pizza is here. Let's eat guys!" sigaw ni Grey.

Naupo na kaming lahat sa long table. Katabi ko si Damien, magkatabi din yung couples sa kabila at nasa right naman namin sina Kuya Nick at Grey. Were 8 and 4 on each side.

"Let's have a toast for a happy holidays!" Sabi ni Dame kaya itinaas namin ang aming wine glasses at nagtoast.

Ang nasa hapag ay ibat-ibang pagkain at sa dami nito ay parang hindi namin ito mauubos. May pork belly lechon, ham, pasta, steak, seafoods at madami pang iba. Kumain kaming lahat ng takam na takam dahil sa sarap ng mga nakahain at feeling ko hindi na ako makatayo dahil sa busog.

"Are you all done?" Tanong ni Grey at tumango naman kaming lahat.

"Bakit parang ang hina niyong kumain? May dessert pa tayo!" Nanunuyang sabi niya.

"Can we like rest for a bit?" Mahinhing sabi nung jowa ata ni Thomas. Pabebe, tsk.

"Sure, sure." Sagot naman ni Kuya Thomas sa jowa kuno niya.

While having fun here in my penthouse, I couldn't hide having a bit of bitterness in my system because Sebastian and I can't celebrate the holidays together because I'm flying to the US.

Supposedly, I'm going to have my holidays here in the country but a sudden change has been done. Tito and Tita visited the country again and forced me to go back to the US these holidays. Well, I don't know what thing are they up to. I hope it isn't connected to Sebastian, because I'll freak out for sure. Damn this thing.

"Hey," Bati ko kay Seb. Nandito kami sa kusinang dalawa habang yung iba naman ay nagpapahinga saglit dahil sa kabusugan.

"Hey," Bati din niya. I know that he is kind of sad too because of the same reason but unfortunately I can't bend this one. Kasi kapag hindi naman ako pumuntang states ngayon eh baka si Sebastian ang mapagdiskitahan nila, I know that Sebastian's family can give the protection he needs but who knows? I need to be careful on these matters.
