A few weeks after the film festival things were getting back to normal. Chris and his team had said that he and I were not together but we friends. The paparazzi had died down, they used to follow me around town but finally they stopped when they realized Chris and I weren't together. I was sitting in my living room going over some invoices for a couple houses I was working on when my cellphone rang.

"Home Designs." I answered not even looking at the screen.

"Hey." I heard the voice say and I stopped instantly.

"Chris." I said and he sighed.

"Listen, I just want to talk. We haven't talk since we got back. I gave you time and I just want to talk." Chris said.

"I told you I didn't want to talk anymore Chris, we are done." I said and Chris groaned.

"Please Olivia, I know I messed up and I just want a chance to make it right." Chris said.

"Can you really make it right though? I mean come on Chris, things aren't what they used to be and cant go back." I said.

"Then let me start over." Chris said.

"What?" I asked.

"Start over, I know I cant take back high school and what I did back then but let me make over for now. Let me take you out." Chris said.
"On a date?" I asked.

"Yes, on a date." Chris said and I sighed.

"No Chris. No dating." I said and he groaned.

"Listen, you make the rules for this date. Anything you want as long as we get to go out." Chris said and I sighed.

"A double date, I don't want to go alone." I said and Chris huffed a laugh.

"Okay, fine a double date it is. Can you bring Ash? I have just the person I want her to meet." Chris said and I sighed.

"I'll talk to her. Does Saturday late afternoon work?" I asked.

"Yeah, you want me to pick you up?" Chris asked and I sighed.

"No, I will drive myself. Why don't we meet up at the bowling alley around 4?" I said.

"Sounds good, I will see you then." Chris said and we hung up and I called Ash.

"Hey, what's up?" She said answering the phone.

"I know we had a girls day planned for Saturday but we had other plans." I said and she sighed.
"What did you get us into?" Ash asked.

"A double date. Chris and he is bringing someone for you." I said and I heard her groan.

"I thought we were done with Chris." Ash said and I sighed.

"Which is why it's a double date, I don't want to go alone." I said.

"So I get roped into this?" Ash asked.

"Please...you now I wouldn't bring you into this unless I really needed backup. I can't fall into him again." I said and Ash sighed.

"Fine, I'm not happy about being set up but fine." Ash said.

"Thank you." I said.

"Yeah, yeah you owe me." Ash said.

It was Saturday and I was walking into the bowling alley with Ash. I just wore some faded blue jeans and a burnt orange color t-shirt that had a lace up front showing off cleavage and put my hair in a side braid.
