I woke up the next morning and Chris wasn't in the room. I wasn't sure where he was but he left a note on the table saying he would be back later. I thought nothing of it so I got up and took a shower. Once I was done in the shower I ordered some room service breakfast and just hung around. I tried texting Chris a couple times and got no answer and I started to get worried. I wasn't sure what else to do so I called the only person I could think of.
"Hey Liv." I heard Scott say.
"Hey, have you heard from Chris today?" I asked.
"No I haven't I'm sorry. Everything okay?" Scott asked and I groaned
"That's a loaded question. I'm not sure when but he left the hotel room but he did at some point in time and he hasn't been back. If you hear from him, have him call me please." I said.
"Of course Liv. I'll call mom and see if she had heard from him too." Scott said.
"Thank you." I said and I smiled. I hung up and just continued about my day. After a couple hours Melanie showed up to do my hair and make-up and also brought a dress with her.
"Chris picked out this dress for you." She said and I nodded. I sat and let her do my hair and make-up and then I headed into the bathroom to change. When I came out of the bathroom I saw Chris standing there dressed and he smiled at me.
"Olive oil, stunning as ever." Chris said as I wore a black sequined dress that had a scoop neck and hit right above mid-thigh. Halter top style and a drop back coming to a point low back I paired it with silver shoes. I smiled and looked at Chris who was wearing a white polo shirt, black pants with white pinstripes and a jacket with the sleeves rolled up.
"You look good." I said and Chris sighed sensing I was upset. He walked up to me and grabbed my hands.
"Sorry I disappeared today. I should have told you I had some small press things to do." Chris said and I nodded.
"I was worried. After last night and then you were just gone." I said and he nodded and kissed my cheek.
"I'm sorry." Chris said and I nodded. We headed out of the hotel and to the waiting car. Once we go to the red carpet Chris smiled at me.
"What?" I asked and he pointed in front of us and I smiled huge.
"Chris...that's Jamie Lee Curtis!!!" I said and tried not to fan girl but Chris laughed.
"You want to meet her?" Chris asked and I nodded unable to speak. He laughed and kissed my cheek.
"You going to stay calm?" Chris asked.
"Try to." I said and Chris smiled. Before Chris could get her attention she noticed Chris.
"Chris!" She said excited and walked over and hugged him. When they hugged Chris let go of my hand.
"Jamie, this is my date Olivia Miller. Olivia, the legendary Jamie Lee Curtis." Chris introduced us.
"Oh stop it." Jamie said and shook my hand.
"It's so great to meet you." I said finding a voice from somewhere.
"She is a huge fan." Chris said and I groaned. Jamie gave a small laugh.
"Really? That's so sweet." Jamie said and then a thought hit her.
"Wait...Olivia...." She said and I groaned looking at Chris.
"Even on this movie set I was mentioned?" I asked and he shrugged blushing.
"The one he let go." Jamie said and I nodded. Jamie hit Chris's arm.
"She is adorable! How dare you let her go!" Jamie said and we all laughed. She started to be told to move along and she kissed Chris cheek and hugged me.
