Andy's POV
The next morning I woke up and found my bed wasn't empty anymore, and it felt right. I rolled over and found Becca sound asleep by my side. She looked so calm when she was asleep. Her nose crinkled as she let out a big yawn.
"Good morning beautiful." I yawned back, giving her a light kiss on the nose.
She laughed and rolled up against me. "Hey handsome."
I wrapped my arm around her waist and slid my hand under her tank top to her hip. She wrapped her arms around my neck and climbed on top of me, planting a long kiss on my lips. "I missed you." She breathed between kisses.
"I missed you too, baby." I kissed back. "I'm so happy you're back."
"It's great to be back home. I'm sorry I ran off and didn't tell you." She rested her head on my shoulder.
I ran my hands from her hips to her back and rubbed small circles between her shoulder blades. "Hey, you're okay. You were scared, and if I was in your shoes I would be scared too." I gave her a quick peck on the lips. "You don't have to be scared anymore, we'll catch whoever is after you. I swear."
Suddenly, there were a pair of footsteps at the door, followed by an energetic voice. "Becca!"
Becca rolled off of me and sat up in the bed, her smile lighting up the entire room. "Hey ClaraBear!"
Clara's face lit up as she jumped in the bed and crawled in between us. "I knew you would come back."
Becca laughed and gave her a light kiss on the top of her head. "Of course I would come back. You two are my family."
That sparked an idea. "Speaking of family," I spoke up. "I was thinking about the three of us having a family day."
Clara immediately caught on to what I was saying because the two of us used to do this together. "Can we go see Gramma?!!" She exclaimed.
I nodded. "Yes we can sweetie. I was thinking we could take the train to Milwaukee for the day and show Becca around."
Becca leaned over and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Yea, let's go."
But before any of us could get up, I heard my phone vibrate. I picked it up and noticed I had gotten a text from Meagan.
"Hey I know this is a bit of a short notice but I was wondering if you could stop at the station for a bit? Matt said that he was able to talk to Gabe last night and got some information about Blackington's murder that can link him to Weekes."
I sighed as I texted her back. "Sure, no problem."
Becca noticed my change in attitude. "Andy, is everything okay?"
I shook my head. "Looks like we're gonna have to go tomorrow. Matt texted me that they need me down at the station."
Becca's smile faltered. "Babe, are you sure you need to go in?"
"Yea Daddy," Clara looked up to me. "Do you have to go?"
I nodded. "Yep. Sadly, I do." I leaned over and gave my girlfriend a quick kiss before climbing out of bed and into the shower.

Everyone was crowded around the giant chalkboard by mine and Matt's desks when I got there, except for Piper who was nowhere to be found.
"Hey guys." I spoke up, dropping my backpack in my chair.
"Hey Hurley." Matt grumbled, not looking away from his work.
