Becca's POV
Joe and I soon left after Gerard, his words of advice still ringing in my ears. Andy was at work today, so I went back home. Joe came back with me to try and help figure out what we were going to do next. I dazed out the whole way back, still trying to wrap my head around Gerad's words.

"What do you think he meant?" I wondered out loud to Joe.

He shrugged. "I was going to ask you actually." He laughed to himself.

"I think if we are going to figure out this whole Aubrey thing, we are going to have to do it themselves. If he was right and this was a professional, there's no way Andy and Marie are going to find them in time without someone getting hurt." I explained, fishing out a key from my back jean pocket. The lock clicked and I pulled open the door. I heard voices coming from the living room, so I knew Jack was here today.

"Jack, I'm home." I called out.
Joe eyed me strangely, then I realized that he didn't know about Clara. I turned to him quickly. "Look, everything that happens from now on will be only kept between you and me, not even Gabe can know." I explained quickly before the familiar sounds of footsteps rushed towards me.

"Becca!" Clara exclaimed, rushing up to me in excitement.

"Hey Clara bear." I grinned. Jack followed close behind her, but stopped dead and widened his eyes once he saw Joe. "Oh, Jack, I would like you to me my brother, Joe." I lied and introduced him to Joe. He waved awkwardly to Jack in return, but Jack was still a bit worried or appeared to be.

"Becca, who is that?" Clara pointed to Joe curiously.

I smiled. "This is my big brother." I introduced her to Joe. He was only a few months older than me and people said that we did look alike, so it was a good enough cover for me, and lucky enough he went along with it also. I stood back up and thanked Jack for keeping an eye on her. He left soon after, still a bit skeptical about Joe apparently.

Joe snapped back to me, his electric blue eyes wide with shock. "You didn't tell me that Andy had a kid!" He whisper exclaimed as we made our way to the kitchen.

"Well maybe it's because I didn't even want to tell you about Andy at all until you brought up Marie!" I retorted, leaning on one of the counters.

Joe shook his head and ran a hand through his curls. "Bec, what are we going to do now? There's so much more at stake than I thought."

"But we have to figure this out." I snapped. "Joe, there is so much more at stake than there was back home when it was just you and me. We have others that we have to look after now, which makes it even more important that you and me get to the bottom of this before someone else gets hurt."

Joe looked like he wanted to say something, but held his tongue instead. He knew I was right, there was so much more at stake for both of us now that if we don't find the smoking gun, someone else is going to get hurt. "So what are we going to do?"

I thought over what Gerard had said, realizing what it meant. "If we are going to stop the bloodshed before it starts, we are going to have to take matters into our own hands."

"What does that mean?" Joe asked.

"It means that if this is going to stop now, we are going to have to do it ourselves." I explained.

"You don't mean.."

I nodded. "Yes I do. The only way to stop this killer before they hit again is to take them out ourselves, vigilante style."

Joe's POV

"Becca, you can't be serious." I didn't like where she was heading with this.
The two of us were standing on the roof of the Starship, the late night sounds and lights of Chicago were alive down below us.
