Chapter 4- Alone Together

FOUR MONTHS LATER

Becca's POV

Andy and I have been dating for a couple months now, and all I have to say is that it has been amazing.

Pete was out today with Meagan, so I had to take over the show for myself. After I finished, my phone vibrated in my pocket as I hung up my headphones and slung by bag over my shoulder. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw I had a new message from Andy.

"Hey cutie."

I smiled and texted him back. "Hey babe <3"

"I've got a surprise for you..." He texted.

"Awwwwww, what is it???"

"You're gonna have to find me to find out ;)"

I rolled my eyes and laughed, putting my phone back in my pocket and headed out of the station. I made my way down the stairs when I suddenly got another text from Andy.

"Look up ;)"

I looked up from my phone and was met with a bouquet of red roses. A pair of bright hazel eyes poked through the roses.

"Hey!" I grinned, plucking the roses out of his hands and kissing him on the cheek, his stubble tickling my face.

"Hey you." He wrapped an arm around me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Got the day off." He replied. "And I wanted to spend it with my two lovely ladies."

I raised an eyebrow. "Two?"

Andy smirked at me and sidestepped me, revealing the three year old clinging to his other hand, which I guessed to be Clara. Even though Andy and I had been going out for so long, I never got the chance to meet her. The resemblance between her and Andy was uncanny. She had her father's curly auburn hair and looked so much like him, but her eyes were a stunning blue green mix, which I guessed was from her mother. The little girl looked up to me in wonder and excitement.

"Are you Daddy's new lady friend?" She asked shyly.

I laughed and knelt down to her. "Yes. I guess I am. What's your name?"

She looked up to her father, then back to me. "Clara." She answered shyly.

"It's very nice to meet you Clara. My name is Becca." I introduced myself to her.

Clara giggled. "You have a really pretty name."

This child was too cute for her own good. "Awwww that's sweet. You have a really pretty name too."

Andy's face lit up at us finally meeting. I guess he was nervous about me finally meeting his daughter.

"So what do you wanna do?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I dunno. Do you just want to walk around for now?"

He nodded in agreement. "Sure! And maybe later you can come back to my place and have dinner with Clara and I?" He wondered.

I held the roses up to my face to hide that I was blushing. "I would love that."

Andy's POV

Becca and Clara both seemed to get along very well today, which was a huge relief to me. Becca seemed really surprised and nervous when I first mentioned Clara, but now she loved the little munchkin. And I had raised Clara myself for the last two years with the occasional help from Pete and Meagan, so I was really uneasy about how she would handle Becca and I dating. I was safe to say that Clara loved Becca.

After a day of sightseeing around Chicago, which they both loved, we headed back home. I ordered pizza for dinner, vegan for me and a plain cheese one for my two favorite ladies.

"Miss Becca, can we watch a movie?" I heard Clara ask from the living room after dinner.

I heard Becca laugh. "That's up to your daddy, sweetie." She replied.

The patter of footsteps rushed up to me. "Daddy, can Miss Becca and I watch a movie?" She asked me with her big blue eyes.

"That depends." I knelt down to her. "Can I watch it with you two?"

Her face lit up in excitement as she rushed back to Becca and to pick out a movie, which I helped her set up.

"So what movie do you want to watch, Clara Bear?" I asked her, leafing through the DVDs.

"Aladdin!" She exclaimed, jumping up and down in excitement. I grabbed Aladdin and popped it into the DVD player. Clara sat on the floor, watching the movie in awe, while Becca and I curled up on the couch with a blanket thrown over the two of us. My arm was wrapped around her side and her head was pressed against my shoulder.

Halfway through the movie, Clara was curled up on the other end of the couch asleep. I paused it and got up.

"I'm gonna get that one to bed." I whispered to Becca, pointing over to Clara. "If you wanna watch a different movie you can go ahead and pick one out."

She nodded as I picked up Clara in my arms, her stirring awake. Clara was so tired she could barely keep her eyes open to get her pjs on and her teeth brushed. She was out like a light right after I tucked her in.

Becca was still curled up with the blanket and watching the rest of Aladdin. "Is she asleep?" She asked quietly.

I nodded. "Out like a light." I sat back down with her and wrapped my arm over her side as she laid her head on my chest and traced the tattoo in the center, it was one of her favorites. I had something really special I wanted to ask her, and I guess now was as good of a time as any.

"Hey babe," I lightly nudged her.

"Yea?" She looked up at me.

"I've been thinking about something and I've been wanting to ask you about it." I answered.

She wrinkled her eyebrows in confusion, which was actually really cute on her. "What is it?"

I took a deep breath, trying to piece the right words together. "I've been wondering, what do you think about moving in with Clara and I?"

Her face it up and a smile grew across her face. "I would love that. We would definitely get to see each other more often and I love Clara. She's so much like you."

I was relieved. "Awesome."

We finished Aladdin and started watching the new Captain America movie, which was Becca's favorite. But halfway through it, I saw Becca trying and failing to stay awake. I rubbed her side gently and planted a light kiss on her forehead. "Go to sleep Becca."

She curled up closer to me. "I love you Andy." She whispered, half-asleep.

I smiled and hugged her tight. "I love you too."

She was completely out within a matter of minutes. And I fell asleep by her side soon after.

Hey guys, just a head up that school started for me this week. So that means I will not be able to update as often as I would like due to school work and other activities. I will work on this story as much as I can though along with my other story.
