Becca's POV

I stood over Ryan's unconscious body, blood dripping from my knuckles. He wasn't dead, I could tell because he was still breathing.

Suddenly, I heard Brendon click his gun. I turned around to face him. "You don't want to do this Urie."

Brendon scoffed. "Really? You just beat my partner unconscious. I should put a bullet in your damn skull right now."

I stepped over Ryan and walked up to him. "Then do it." I growled.

"I'll do it." He repeated.

"Then what are you waiting for?!" I snapped. "Do it! Shoot me!" I walked up to point blank range, since I knew from experience that Brendon was a shitty shot.

"You're insane." He shook his head at me. "I will shoot you. I'm not kidding."

"Then fucking do it!" I screamed. "Shoot me! Pull the goddamn trigger! It's not like I've got anything you want or am worth keeping alive."

Time seemed to stand still. Was Brendon actually going to pull the trigger? Or was he just going to make a run for it? But we never got a real answer as I saw a flash of silver fly past my ear, barely missing Brendon by less than an inch. Brendon immediately broke out into a dead sprint out of the alley, completely forgetting about Ryan's unconscious body. I snapped back around to find Joe standing in the doorway, holding a switchblade.

"What the hell were you thinking Becs?!" He snapped at me. "You were just going to let Brendon put a bullet in you!"

"Joe, I-" I tried to find words, but I went mute from shock. I fell to my knees, shaking all over.

Joe ran over and kneeled down next to me. "You told him that you don't have anything to live for. I know you have had to lie to protect people you love, but I know that you believe you were not lying there."

I tried to find my voice to answer him, but it was gone. It took all my focus and willpower to stand up, but I was still in shock. My words couldn't find their way to my mouth, so I was standing in stunned silence. I looked down at my hands, they were bloody and bruised Joe noticed as well.

"Come on," He led me inside. I shook my head and tried to resist, knowing who was waiting inside. "It's fine. Stump bolted after you appeared, it's just me and Gabe. Besides, we need to wash that blood off of you." He said in a protective tone. I may have lied to Jack and said that Joe was my brother, but he definitely acted like he was. I reluctantly followed Joe inside to the same room were in this morning. Gabe was pacing behind the couch, the top few buttons of his shirt were undone and his jacket was tossed on the floor.

"What happened?" He asked immediately.

"She beat the hell out of Ryan and Brendon nearly put a bullet in her." Joe explained, grabbing a rag and dousing it in water. My legs gave out and I collapsed on the couch, still shaking. Joe knelt down and pressed the rag to my bloody knuckles. I wanted to say something, but my voice was still gone.

"What were you thinking Becca?" He asked. "Brendon would have shot you and have no second thoughts."

I shook my head. "I don't know. I wasn't thinking straight." I grabbed the rag from Joe and scrubbed the rest of the blood off, leaving the scratches and bruises underneath. "Look, can we just go home?"

Joe and Gabe looked to each other, then back to me. Then Joe nodded in agreement. "Yeah, let's get out of here."

~~~~TIME LAPSE~~~~~
The next morning came quicker than I thought it would. I woke up in bed with barely any memory of how I got there. I rolled over to Andy's side, but he wasn't there. I propped myself on my side and looked around.
