The grey and dulling walls of my new dorm did nothing to help my dampened mood. My eyes moved from the moon light casting from the open window to my roommate who was snoring like a pig stuck on a twig. I groaned as I grabbed a pillow and pushed it against both sides of my head to hide from her obnoxious noises.

Nothing was worse then getting moved from my pack to an academy full of werewolves that I didn't know.

Nothing.

Just from the first day of being here, I could tell that this school was going to be my own personal hell hole. There were pheromones everywhere  and the amount of snobby, hormonal, high ranking male wolves that decided to step foot into the she-wolves dormitories was just aggravating. The only thing that I couldn't be mad about was the large amount of food that the Academy offered. Which was a lot.

My roommate, Bali, was a bitch too. There was nothing more annoying then a preppy, bossy alpha she-wolf that put more time into gossiping with other she-wolves then training. And I couldn't figure out if I was jealous or terrified.

Her customs of living were very different from mine. It was obvious that she was raised as someone everyone would want to be friends with, I could see the little side glances of hate her friends would give her, but I still couldn't figure out if they were all followers or simply all just fake. I leant towards the latter.

My pack's customs were nothing like her's. Mine were cold and unforgiving. But they treated each other like family. I was brought up with the message to trust no one, especially a man who only thinks with what's in their pants. Getting your trust broken was worse then not trusting anyone at all.

As an Alpha female in my pack, that message was punched into my head so many times that my brain would have to shut down in order for me to forget it. And that message was going to get me through this damn werewolf academy. The only reason I was sent here was to be trained and sent away as a warrior for the growing rogue war, like a pawn. All werewolves strayed far from human customs and technology, we were a reserved kind with animalistic ideas. We cut with our claws, not with a bullet.

I brushed away my thoughts as I ran my hand over my leg, getting up as I fumbled with the torn sheets of my bed. My side of the room was only filled with items that truly belonged to me, which was very little. My pack was never that fortunate and we only relied on ourselves, so I did what I had to do, make my own things.

My half of the dorm was filled with few wooden trinkets and torn handmade toys, then two wrapped up bear-skin blankets on a small twin sized bed that did little to provide me any warmth. It was better then sleeping on the floor, so I was grateful.

I tip toed to the other side of the dorm where the wooden door was and slightly opened the door. My dark curly hair waved in my face and I brushed it away with one swipe. I poked my head out to take a look at my surroundings, but almost gagged when I smelt the amount of hormones in the hallway. It smelt of lust. Something werewolves give off when they're having feelings of need or attraction.

I scrunched my nose in disgust, then opened the door a little more before I slipped my body into the hallway. There was a large chandelier at the highest point of the ceiling and the wall colors were gold and blue. This academy was definitely ran by high ranked officials.

The beast inside of me rumbled as I took my body out of my dorm, shutting my door quietly to not wake my new roommate.

Damn. That was going to be my one good deed today.

I wasn't aware of any curfews, but I made sure that I was quiet in the overly large hallway just in case. This Academy was very large. It was almost like a huge high school campus hidden in the middle of a great forest. There were three great halls, one for the female wolves, the males, and the chief trainers; two large cafeterias full of ready to eat hunted meat; Many classrooms for historical studies; a labyrinth of a library; and five training grounds for hands on combat. The place that I was set to find right now was the library, since books were the key to all of my answers.
