The next day was a Monday, meaning I would start the week off fresh. Cyrene made me a big breakfast to try and get me to gain my weight back, and I was thankful. She told me not to worry about Kano and that everything would work out in the end. She even told me all about the situation regarding the Alpha warriors.

The Alpha King's warriors were only here to check up on the Academy. They took some high ranked Academy wolves back with them to fight the front lines of the war. All of them were Gamma or Delta ranked Males.

Cyrene and Griffin also didn't seem to care about how the Academy looked at me. They didn't care that it looked like I had "special treatment" from them. Instead, they barreled those statements by having Griffin kick my ass on the battle field. It was a fair fight. A fight that ended with me having tons of bruises and a busted lip.

Monday ran through like regular. I got all my work done from my classes, which was mostly history about the war, and I caught up on the new training excersizes that they were teaching the trainees. Tuesday was like Monday. Flying by like nothing ever happened less then two days ago. After Tuesday, a week had passed and I hadn't talked to Kano. The only communication between us were the longing glances that I couldn't help but send. I was pathetic, I know.

Then two weeks passed by, and the drama between Elliot, Eliose, and Bali had subsided. I still stayed with Cyrene since she insisted, and I knew that I was growing a little attached. At the end of the second week it seemed that I had started to gain attention again, yet I didn't know why. Every time I walked in the hallways by myself people actually looked at me.

Most of them were Males, like they had some curious gazes, the ones from the females seemed nice and inviting, but I knew that they were probably talking shit behind my back. I had been doing well in my training, so I guessed that was the issue. Who knows?

I also wasn't worried about my heat anymore. Cyrene said that it was normal for the time frames between my first heat and second heat to double, which means I had another three to six weeks before my heat would come back to kill me.

I looked around the hallway as I made my way to the library. I wanted to do some research about the war again. I was almost to the grande library doors when I saw a familiar face that I couldn't put a name to. He was the guy that had offer me to set my room up in the male's dormitory.

His eyes lit up when he saw me, and he practically sprinted over to me. "Hey little Amory." I didn't know why I wasn't that annoyed over the small nickname he had said to me. He chuckled, then looked around me, "That Alpha Jerk isn't with you today I see?"

I squinted my eyes at him, trying to see what he was trying to get at, "No, Kano and I aren't friends. He doesn't really care for me. To be honest, it was all just a show of ego when he threatened you." I shrugged. He opened the library door for me and I walked in, "Thank you." I smiled.

He would be the first person outside of Cyrene and Griffin that I have talked to for the past two weeks. "So? What are your plans for the Moon Thanks?" Moon Thanks? Wasn't that the holiday where werewolves just feasted and hung out with their families to honor the moon goddess?

"What do you mean?" I asked him, walking through the library to the romance section again. At this point it was forced into my brain that the romance section was life.

"Everyone gets to go home for a week to spend some time with their families. It's basically just a nice break." Oh. I didn't know of this, but I knew that I would rather spend my time here then go back to my pack.

"I don't think that I'm going to go back to my pack for the 'Moon Thanks' or whatever. I'll probably stay here and study." I told him, plucking the books out of place one by one and glancing at the cover of them. If I didn't like it, I would put it back.
