I left the room in a hurry, leaving a stunned Bali inside. My mind was racing and scurrying all the little pieces together. It was too much. Way too much to handle. I sped walk through the hallways, turning corners quickly to get to the headmasters chamber.

I kept my head down to avoid any weird stares. I'm sure almost everyone in this school knows who I am now since all the fiascos with Kano and Elliot have occured.

When I saw the person who had caused all my worries and fears walk out of the headmaster's wing doors, I panicked, and turned around in a heartbeat to avoid being spotted.

"Amory." Shit. I started walking away as soon as I heard his voice speak my name. My face flushed as I realized how much I liked it. "Hey. Amory. Where are you going?" Footsteps trailed behind me as I made my way to some random space towards the library. "Would you stop walking away?"

I slowed down and came to a stop, keeping my head turned away from him. I wanted to keep up my front, but it seemed that I couldn't.

My wolf whimpered in my head at the thought of leaving him after he obviously had something to tell me. His hand grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. My brown eyes met his in a fierce gaze. "What do you want." I asked him.

His hazel eyes looked me up and down, observing my body. A small, calm smile formed on his face for a split second before it returned to his normal, serious tone. "This your's?" He asked. His hand held the thick, heavy brown bear skinned blanket with ease. I suddenly felt little rage settle in me, remembering the reason I had lost the blanket in the first place.

My hands reached out towards the blanket and I snatched it away from him. "Thanks for having your little friends spy on me, dick. I hope you got all the little secrets you were trying to find." His eyebrows furrowed for a second.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

"Don't play dumb with me." I said quickly. He looked at me like I didn't know what he was pulling behind the scenes.

"I'm serious Amory. What are you talking about? Who was spying on you?" He squinted his eyes on me, then looked around.

I let out a little dark chuckle, then turned on my heel to walk away. His hand grabbed my elbow, clutching it gently. Sparks lit up my arm as I glared back at him, trying to ignore the small feelings happening inside me.

"Who was spying on you. Tell me." His voice was quiet, but loud enough for me to hear the meaning of his words clearly. His lips were so close to touching my ear that I could feel the brush of his breath on my skin.

"Your pack members." I said meekly, ripping my arm from his hold.

"Who?" He repeated again.

"I already told you, now leave me alone." I huffed and crossed my arms to try and put on a brave, annoyed face. "If you wanted some information about me, all you had to do was ask." I told him shortly.

His face was still drawn into confusion, but I ignored it and walked away, heading to the forest to go run off some steam.

My wolf was even more on edge, and I still couldn't figure out why. Was Kano really my mate? Did I even really have a mate? That, I couldn't figure out either. My hairy body ran through the trees at immense speed. I let my wolf take control, unleashing the rather antsy beast. My paws hit the ground in constant correlation.

Now that I had known about Kano's parents, it was clear that he would have a mate somewhere in the future, which was weird to think about, because if he wasn't my mate, then he was somebody else's. Bali had told me that Kano's mother was dead as well, which leaves me stumbled on what really happened to Kano's family. Was the mother killed? Did people know that they were true mates? It was confusing.
