One week. It's been one full week since Kano has uttered a word to me. He didn't even tell me when to meet him in the library. At this point, I think it had something to do with his sister. My wolf was restless as well and I couldn't tell if it was that strange male or not. His sister probably told him to stay away from me or something.
I also hadn't made any friends, which isn't surprising. I wasn't exactly one to make friends in my pack. People stirred clear from me knowing that I was the Alpha's daughter. I didn't blame them. Our pack was tight, but my Father acted like I was a willow that was to remain protected.
But here... here no one except Kano and my annoying "pack mates" knows who I am or where I'm from. Maybe I'm just antisocial or something.
I pulled myself up from the the pit and rubbed the dirt and grit off of me. My instructor stood there with astonishment. I just beat another Alpha in my human form. He didn't really like me though and I think it was because I was a female?
Something hit me hard, making me fly forward and literally eat dirt. I felt my ribs crush under me, but not enough to become broken. My head was pounding as I turned around, my back touching the ground and my knees in the air. When I saw the blonde tuff of hair that belonged to Eloise I flipped.
I hate my life.
"What the hell Eloise!" I yelled, jumping off the ground and lunging back towards her, knocking into her middle and slamming both of us on the floor. "What is your problem?!" I straddled her, not withholding my punch and slamming it into her face.
She kneed me in the butt, causing me to jump off of her. Her nose was sporting a nasty bloody nose. "My brother is in so much trouble because of you!" She wiped her bloody nose, running up to me and trying to kick me in the stomach. I grabbed her foot though, and threw her across the training field.
The only way Elliot's father could have found out about getting beat in pit was by someone from their pack mind linking someone from home and telling them the news. There pack was near mine, so someone from their pack had to shift and run a little closer in the direction of their pack to even possibly get a few words in.
Talk about the effort.
"So your family is choosing to act like a sore loser?!" I yelled to her. I knew that so many onlookers were watching this fight go down. "Why are you-." I was cut off from another body colliding with mine, making me eat another round of dirt. This time I didn't stay on the ground for long, and flipped myself over and up as quick as I could.
It was Elliot, that bitches brother. He had a cocky little smirk of satisfaction laced on his face.
"Get up, Amory. No one's going to help you." Someone picked me up from behind, hitting me in the back and kicking me right back to the ground. I felt tears weld up in my eyes. I clutched the ground with my hands and got up to my knees. "See? You think you can actually take us both in a fight?"
"Say it again." I heard a low growl come from the crowd around us.
"Wow Kano. Here to save the mutt again?" I looked up to the crowd, searching for Kano.
It didn't take long. Kano ran towards Elliot with immense speed, it was like watching a humming bird fly. I didn't even see Kano raise Elliot in the air. "That mutt is about to save your ass from dying." Kano stated in a very deep, tantalizing voice. I could see his eyes glowing a bright, golden color. His wolf was near. "Now say it. Again."
Kano's grip became tighter around Elliot's throat.
Headmaster Griffin's voice popped up. "Kano! Put him down!" He was running to the scene, almost at the same speed the Kano ran up to Elliot. Almost. "Amory, get your ass over here!"
