My body was restless and my thoughts were drowning with waves of him. He was a strange wolf. Walking into that library and demanding my name like that. A strange wolf in deed.

When it was apperent that I wasn't going to get any sleep that night, I just stayed up and stared at the ceiling. Nothing was better then procrastinating in bed. When the bright hues of orange and yellow made their way through the open window of the dorm, I decided to get up and get out of my head. Bali was still asleep, thankfully, so I took my towel and washcloth to head to the showers down the hall.

The hallways were a bit more lively this time. Many werewolves had started to get up and get ready for the first day of training. Of course I was starting my first day with little to no rest. She wolves were out in the halls talking with one another, probably gossiping or telling stories about their homeland packs. I knew that many of the wolves sent here were wolves of high ranking, meaning that a lot of us had at least one commonality.

After about a minute of walking, I found the bathrooms. I walked in to the locker room, finding an empty locker and claiming it. This place was a free for all, so there were no locks on anything. Only empty cabinet spaces. I took my clothes off and placed it in one of the little cubby holes, then made my way to the showers and turned on the hot water from on of the shower handles.

"Can't believe I have to shower in here with you." I turned my head towards the familiar voice as I heard another shower turn on.

"Eloise. Good to see you again." I said as I began to lather soap on my body using my wash cloth.

"You missed the pack meeting that we had yesterday. FYI, my brother isn't very happy about it." The Alpha female spoke to me. I poked my head out from under the water and willed the water to hit my back. My curly hair which reached just above my middle back began to stick to my face.

I didn't have any pack members with me, but my Father had it arranged that I stay under Red River pack for the time being. Which meant that I had to follow all of their stupid rules. The only reason why I wasn't able to be the Alpha at home was simply because I was female. The new Alpha role would be given to the Alpha male that is supposed to be under me, my younger brother.

"Elliot is never happy with me." I faked a laugh as I turned back into the water.

"That's Alpha Elliot to you, Amory." This was why I didn't like Eloise. Everything to her was rankings and power. The only thing that I liked about her was how serious she was about training. She was the perfect sparring partner to unleash all of my frustration on.

"Elliot isn't the Alpha yet. If he was, I would know." I wanted to look her in the eyes but knew that it would be extremely inappropriate to do so.

"Remind me what he see's in you? His pining is really all just a fat waste. Not like you hold any value or something." Her tone was flat and obnoxious.

"I don't know Eloise. You tell me. He's your brother." I stopped the shower water early and stepped away from the shower head.

"It's probably just hormones or something. You know. The side affects of being an Alpha. It messes with his head so much that he see's you as a mate. Embarrassing really. Makes you really think about him and I being related." I finally looked over towards her side. She was still sporting that nasty claw mark that I gave her a few days ago while I was adjusting to her pack. Werewolves healed quickly, but not instantly. It was a surprise that her Alpha side hadn't healed her all the way.

"Yeah. Those Red River Alpha genes do seem to make you guys a little coo coo in the head." I walked out of the shower room, ignoring her reaction and went back to my clothes. I was glad that they were still there. If they weren't, I would've ran out of the locker room naked.
