𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍: 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧
The glass suddenly smashed beneath the two of us before we could even hear what was going on. If I'd had the chance, I would've done something else, but there was no chance we were going to get away with it.
Kate landed on top of my legs with a thud, causing me to groan. "Thanks..." I mutter.
"Sorry-" The girl apologised quickly before I took a glance around.
"Bro, I found her." I heard one Russian accent say as I looked at all guns aimed at the two of us.
"Okay... this looks bad..." I murmured as I got up. Part of me was tempted to go for one of the weapons in my pockets, but I couldn't risk the other two getting shot.
"Oh, wow-" Kate said, getting a better look as she stood up. "Didn't uh- didn't realize we were supposed to bring guns..." The guns suddenly all clocked and I pursed my lips, knowing damn well that this was going to end up with Clint shouting at me and Kate. She chuckled nervously next to me, while I got ready to be disarmed.
"There you go." Clint says as his hands were also duck taped up. The tracksuits were laughing their asses off, making jokes and more, while the three of us just sat there in our row, waiting. "Look at what you did." Clint says, turning to look at us.
"In my defence, you lied and said you were going for pizza." I say in reply.
"I was going to come back with pizza!" He exclaimed to me.
"In what? Three hours?" I asked him. "I was worried, and Kate wanted to help-" I explained to the very annoyed dad. Suddenly, though, it was quiet.
"What? What's happening?" Kate asked the two of us, while I glanced around.
"Don't talk..." I say to her quietly, looking at the tracksuits, of who were staring.
"Uh oh..." One said. "You're in trouble, now, bro." He tells us, annoying me some more. If one more person irritates me today, I'm gonna throw a baton at their head...
The night turned into day, slowly. And when I say slowly, I mean it took its damn fucking time. With the tracksuits keeping themselves occupied by teasing us and making absolute fools of themself. The small children rides that we were on suddenly ended, but they were ready, with one of them going off to find more quarters.
"Great..." Kate murmured.
"I'm gonna throw something at them once I get the chance to." I tell the two of them.
"This is boring." One of them says. "Demetri, let's play card game." He scooted across the floor towards the table while the three of us were still stuck there.
"Seems like your mad at us." Kate says to a very silent Clint. "Look, I know it doesn't look like that right now, but you'd be lost without me, you realize that?" I look over at her slowly.
But, Clint spoke up before a long line of curse words left my lips. "I was about to clear your names from the suit," He tells her. "until you decided to crash through the skylight with your new best friend."
I send him a glare. "Oh..." I hear her say.
"Yeah..."
"Could be worse." I say to them both.
"How could it be-" There was a sudden crashing beside Kate and the two of us look, while it seemed as though Clint still didn't give a shit. One of the tracksuits were arguing on the phone with someone, and I could take a wild guess that he wasn't too happy. He spoke Polish down the phone, and the other Tracksuits told him to calm down before he ended the call.
