A warm breeze swept through the Toretto Café & Market. Alexandria Toretto breathed out a sigh of relief, thankful for the short break from the heat. Standing in front of the small table fan, she impatiently awaited their next customer. The lunch hour was approaching, meaning her mid-shift rush would soon begin.

The slam of a car door caught the youngest Toretto sibling's attention. Eyes searching for the source of the noise, her lips curved into a smile when she spotted a familiar red truck and the handsome blonde who had just stepped out of it. It was their new regular, Brian.

"Back again are we?" Alex asked once he was in ears reach. Taking a seat at the counter across from the woman, he smiled. She placed her palms flat against the counter top and leaned forward slightly, looking down at him.

"What can I say?" Brian paused, his shoulders giving a small shrug. "I just can't seem to stay away from that pretty face for too long."

"Ya know, all this flirting isn't gonna get you a discount," Alex replied, trying her best to remain unfazed, though his compliments always made her feel like a giddy school girl.

"Who said I wanted a discount?" Brian replied, the smile he was previously wearing turning into a smirk. Playfully rolling her eyes, Alex grabbed a plate.

"Are we switching it up today, or you want the usual?" Alex asked.

"The usual. I'm a simple man," Brian said. Alex nodded and went to work making his order: tuna sandwich on white toast, no crust. "Thank you."

Alex's back was faced to Brian and he couldn't help but admire the view. The tiny black tank top she wore left about an inch worth of space before her jean shorts began, showcasing a small amount of her tanned, toned midriff. If that hadn't already been attractive enough, the jean shorts clung to her like a second layer of skin, accentuating every curve.

The woman turned around in just enough time to catch his gaze. He quickly adverted his eyes, pretending to be immersed in the magazine in front of him. She simply chuckled, placing the plate on the counter.

"Bon appetit," Alex joked. "I don't know how you can eat that stuff so much."

"Tastes great to me," Brian told her, taking a bite out of the sandwich.

"If you say so," Alex said in an unconvinced tone. She turned her head to get a better view of the magazine. "You like cars?"

Before he could answer, the sound of cars racing down the street captured their attention. Four cars whipped into the parking lot, skirting to a stop with precision. One by one, the doors opened. It was Letty, Vince, Leon and Jesse. Though they didn't share blood relation to the Toretto's, they were considered family. The small group gathered around Vince's vehicle as he popped the hood.
