Carissa's POV

I woke up to the bright morning sun and the chirping of birds filled my ears. Well this is a good way to start the day, I thought to myself.

I wanna do something fun today.

"We could go to the amusement park, swimming, beach." I mumbled to myself while laying on my bed. Everything sounds bland. "The boardwalk!" I said to myself. "That sounds fun."

I walked over to Katie's room to find she was still asleep. I decided to give her a good wake-up this morning. I jumped on her side, because she sleeps on her side. How weird is that?

"Mmmmmmmm" She mumbled. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I yelled in her ear while still jumping on her. "Shut the hell up before your head comes off!" She shouted back at me.

I quieted down.

"Sorry, I'm not a morning person," She grumbled while rolling on her back. "It's cool," I replied, cheerily. "Soooo, I was thinking we could go to the boardwalk today." I suggested. "Coolio, let's do it," She replied, dragging herself off the bed.

Katie went to her bathroom and brushed her hair and teeth.

"Did you bring any face wipes?" I asked Katie. "Yea," She replied. "Thank God you overpack" I told her laughing. "It comes in handy," She laughed and winked. (it's a playful wink;)

"How do you wink so good?! When I wink, It looks like my eye is twitching." I confessed. "Oh My God" She said laughing.

"Let's go cook breakfast." I said.

We walked down the spiral stairs and into the pantry. Man, there's like every ingredient to make anything in here. We decided to make chocolate chip pancakes and eggs.

I put the pancake mix on the stove and sprinkled chocolate chips. Katie scrambled the eggs on the other stove.

The boys woke up and came to the kitchen.

Hayes walked over to me and said, "Ooh pancakes" He went to reach for one and I smacked his hand with a spatula. "Back off jackass," I told him. "Sorry" He mumbled.

Katie's POV

"So Carissa has suggested that we should all go to the boardwalk today!" I said as all of us sat down to eat breakfast. "Sounds fun!" Dylan replied excitedly.

After we finished breakfast, and we forced the boys to clear the table, we all went up to our rooms to change.

I heard a knock on my door and yelled, "COME IIINNNN!" Carissa walked into the room holding 3 bathing suits and an armful of clothes. "I need help choosing what to wear." Carissa said timidly.

I nodded my head and she handed me the clothes. I scanned my eyes over the pile of garments.

The swimsuits Carissa had brought in were:

1) A tribal print flounce top with black bottoms

2) A strapless gray bandeau with a zipper in the front that came with light blue floral bottoms

3) A triangle shaped bikini that was a pink tie dye color.

I picked the gray bandeau with the light blue floral bottoms because it went well with her tan/olive skin tone.

Carissa had also brought in a variety clothes but I just chose a simple crochet top with a bunch of holes, making it see through, and a pair of dark wash shorts. I gave her a set of brown flip flops and round glasses that made her look hipster.

I hurried her off to the bathroom, and after she came out I was very proud of my work. She looked so natural, but at the same time gorgeous and unique.
