It's been a week, but it felt like a month. Why? Because Ava has been ignoring me, and I don't know why. Okay, maybe I do but why?

And that is why I'm on my way, on a Friday afternoon, to the Larson's house.

"Melanie Rose Newman. What on earth are you doing?"

I know my conscience is right. Why am I doing this? Well, I don't even know.

I mean I spent 5 years not hearing a single word from her, and now that I haven't heard from her for a week, I'm on my way to her fucking house.

God, I am going crazy. I thought mentality facepalming myself.

Before I could talk myself out of anything, I turned on my music and drove.

It was already getting dark when I arrived at Ava's house. Seeing the lights were on, I figured they were all still awake.

Pressing the doorbell, I can hear laughing from inside. But before I could walk away Emily opened the door.

"Mel, what a pleasant surprise." She says hugging me. "Your parents told me you weren't coming." Wait, my parents are here? " Ummm yeah, I stopped at home, but no one was there, so I figure I'll try to see if they are here," I say smiling, even though it was a lie.

"Come in, come in. We were just about to eat. You must be hungry from the long drive." She steps aside to welcome me in.

It feels so strange to be in this house again. I missed it so much. Nothing has changed, just like I remember it.

I get this warm feeling in my heart being back here, the place I loved to be.

"Oh hunny, I didn't know you were coming home for the weekend." My mom says as I walk into the living room. "I wanted to surprise you," I say smiling as my mom walks over to hug me.

Seeing Ava sitting on the couch next to a black head girl. I am not going to lie she is much prettier than Lizzy the Lizard.

Seeing her whisper something to Ava she just nods. And a huge smile starts to form on the girl's face.

Uhh, what the fuck just happened. I eye them skeptically. She must have noticed because the next moment she is up and hugging me. So shocked, that I froze also I'm not a hug person.

"B, you are scaring her, and you can't just hug people." I hear Ava say.

"Ohh I'm so sorry I get a little bit excited about things sometimes." She says giving me a big friendly smile. God, why do I already like her, and I don't even know her?

I just smile at her back. "I'm Bianca by the way, it's so nice to meet you I have heard so much about you and I'm so excited to finally meet Melanie Rose." I just eye her and then look at Ava. I notice a little blush creeping up her face.

"It's very nice to meet you, Bianca. I hope all good things." I say smiling at her. Before she could answer Emily called us to the dining room for supper.

Dinner went very well; Bianca is a very nice person. I found out she and Ava are very close friends; she also has a boyfriend and is studying to become an actress.

We did click, she and Anna would become great friends I can already tell. After dinner, I helped clean up and started doing the dishes. The old people were drinking wine and enjoying themselves in the living room.

"You don't need to do that you know." I hear a voice come from the kitchen entry. Turning around standing with my back against the sink. I see Ava leaning against the doorway.

Just remember, we haven't said a word to each other the entire night since I got here.

"Wow, guess someone decided to speak to me again." I roll my eyes while sarcastically telling her, even though it does hurt that she was or is ignoring me. With that, I turn back around to wash the dishes.

The one moment I'm washing dishes and the next I'm turned around to face her. Trapped between her arms, both sides of me on the sink.

It feels as though my voice is caught in my throat and I can't get a single word out. Just staring at each other.

My legs feel like jelly. God, why does she have to have this effect on me? "Do I make you nervous Lennie?" She asked very softly. Smirking. I just shake my head not trusting my own words. But I know she can see through my lies.

"Are you sure? You seem a bit quiet." She says with a smirk. I swallowed hard, but before I could answer. Bianca interrupts us. "Hay A, Nick is here to..." she stops when she sees us.

I move away as if Ava burnt me.

God, what just happened?
