Lynara: (Sitting by the fire as uses a piece of wood to get the fire a bit bigger)
Luna: (Sits by a tent and looks around as notices Lara and smiles)
Lara: (Looking at the fire I turned my gaze to Lynara) I've been thinking, why did you pull out that syndicate guard member?
Lynara: (Keeps poking the fire with a wooden piece and shakes head not looking at her) It doesn't matter..
Lara: (Nods as I look into the night sky) Crazy how the world can be. (I slowly look back down at Lynara) He would have turned on you if he knew you betrayed them.. You do know that right?
Lynara: (Looks up at her and sighs as shakes head) He never believed in the Syndicate. He was there because he was kidnapped like me. (Returns gaze to the fire and tosses the wood piece into it) Except he didn't have that torture device on like I did. If he didn't listen they'd have killed him.
Lara: And if he'd listen he'd kill others... (I shake my head looking down) It's a cruel world we live in.
Lynara: He wasn't the one doing the killing, he was just there to make sure that I was safe and secure when I returned and didn't try to run.
Lara: So in other words he was your warden.
Lynara: (Smiles a bit) No he considered it like a big brother to a little sister. Protecting me if something I did wrong he'd take the blame and end up getting beaten for it instead of me. He did his best to take the blame. So I wouldn't have to endure all the pain myself.
Lara: Well maybe when he wakes up, he will turn a new leaf.
Lynara: (Looks up at her and tilts head) Huh?
Lara: What's wrong? Remember? We just left him there by the door.
Lynara: (Raises an eyebrow) Who knows.. I was lucky to get free. But most are not.. (Looks at the fire and holds my hands up by it to warm them) There were a lot of us kidnapped at a young age and don't want to be there anymore.. But are forced to or we risk death.
Luna: (Walks over and sits next to Lynara and rests hand on her shoulder placing my head on it to comfort her)
Lara: Even if it was the case, we can't afford to just spare every single syndicate member we run across. Some of them can be twisted beyond repair.. We're fighting a war.
Lynara: (Looks up at her) Yet you spared me? When you didn't know if I'd be twisted after you took the collar off my neck.
Lara: (Looks at her) You had a collar around your neck, meant you must have done something they didn't like.
Lynara: (Shakes head as just laughs a little) They use the collars to help twist our minds...
Luna: (Looks at Lara then towards Lynara as sits and listens)
Lara: I know it's hard turning on your comrades. (I look at Luna) But would you have them destroy the world so that your loved ones would have nothing left? (Looks back at Lynara)
Lynara: (Gets up and crosses arms) Maybe you should have just left me the way I was or killed me.. My comrades were family. Luna I thought had been dead until the day I saw you. (Walks towards the tent)
Lara: (Get's up as I dust my pants and look at Lynara) How about your village? The people you grew up with?
Lynara: (Stops walking and turns around) They disowned me when I almost killed them all. (Looks at her and then at the ground going into the tent)
Lara: Then why help at all? Is it better to damn your sister when she has only just tasted freedom from being enslaved as an owl for seven years?
Lynara: (Ignores her and walks completely in the tent)
