The rest of the summer went pretty well. Everyone would constantly text each other everyday on a group chat and this just became a routine for us.

I still haven't told Josh or Dylan that I'm going to their school. I've told the girls not to tell them either, so we could surprise them. I notice that it's already 10:00, so I get out of bed and go to the bathroom.

I pick out my high waisted shorts and a black mussel tank that I tuck into the shorts. I brush my hair and put it into a side braid then I slip on some fuzzy socks and hop downstairs.

Once I reach the kitchen, I find a note taped to the fridge.

Dear Jessica,

If you're wondering were I am, I've gone to pick up your father from the airport. We won't be back until 1:00 pm so I'm trusting you by yourself.

Mom xx

P.S I have a surprise for you when we get back.

I read over the note and smile a bit. Dad's coming home! I hear my phone go off and I check on what it is. It was a text from Josh.

Josh: Hey, we're all gonna hang out today. If you're free we'll meet you at your house at 2:00 pm.

Jess: Yeah I'm free I guess. I'll get Sky to tell you my address. See you! :)

Josh: Bye! :D

I place my phone on the counter and rummage through the fridge. When I don't find anything I give up and scroll through my Instagram feed.

It had been a few hours of watching tv when I hear the door bell ring. I jump up from my spot and bolt to the door.

"There's my princess!" My dad greets with open arms. I fall into them and tightly hug him.

"I missed you daddy" I smile. "So what's this surprise you have for me?"

"Go look outside pumpkin"

I slow walk out the door with one eyebrow raised. What could it possibly be?

"Hey baby sis" My head instantly shoots up and I meet the eyes of my brother.

"Michael!" I exclaim, running up to the now 21 year old. "What are you doing here?"

"Can I not see my family anymore?" He asks while chuckling.

I roll my eyes and shove him lightly. "Shut up"

"C'mon weirdo, let's go inside"

"Oh and by the way, Im going somewhere with friends in a hour" I quickly tell him, rushing inside before he could bug me about it.

"Whoa whoa whoa wait" He catches up to me as I groan in frustration. I hate it when he does this. "When did all of this happen? You're the most anti social person I know"

"Hey that's not always true!" I pout and cross my arms over my chest. "And besides, I meet them at camp"

"Okay, what are their names?"

"Mike, why the eff are you so nosey?" I sigh then I say, "Their names are, Cassie, Sky, Clove, Josh and Dylan. There you happy?"

"Mhm. Okay then" He nods. "Just make sure they don't pressure you into doing shit"

"Shut the fuck up Mike. What kind of people do you think I attract?"

"Last time I checked, none" He smirks. I give him a glare while flipping him off.

He's such a bitch.

We all go to the living room and caught up on everything. I told my dad about camp and my friends. I also told them that they would be here in a ten minutes, so I go upstairs to get ready. I wear my peach colored singlet and a pair of shorts with a jacket. I slip on my ballet flats and decide to leave my hair out.

"Okay, I'm going now!" Tell everyone as I grab my keys.

A chorus of 'okay's' come from the living room and I hear a honk at the door.

I walk outside and cram into the back of the van with Clove.

"Hey guys! I haven't seen you in ages" I smile.

"Ugh! I know right" Sky says, turning to face us. "So what do you guys wanna do?"

I shrug. "I don't really mind"

"Let's go to the park!" Dylan exclaims and everyone agrees.

A few minutes later, Josh pulls up and parks in a spot. We all rush out and race each other to the play ground. I end up jumping on Josh's back and Cassie and Dylan follow after.

We basically start goofing around and surprisingly, Sky and Clove were just sitting on the swings and talking. I walk up to them to ask what's wrong.

"Why aren't you guys being all crazy?" I ask, swinging back and forth on my heels.

"I dunno" Clove shrugs. "We just wanted to catch up, I guess"

"Mkay then" I say, walking off. Its weird seeing them like this. They're usually so loud and energetic, not calm and quite.

It has been a few hours and it was almost dark. Clove and Sky decide to join us on the monkey bars, being their usual selves again.

Josh drops us off at our houses when the sun starts to set and we continue chatting on messages.

How was I so lucky to have friends like these?

Omg guys I just watched the Duff with my friend (Neon_Unicorn14 on wattpad) and we were so excited to see Alex Wassabi BUT THE ONLY PART HE GOT WAS HIM TALKING TO SONE RANDOM CHICK! Like you would only notice him if you really knew him.
