•Four•

"Aww. That's so cute!" Clove smiles, making me roll my eyes and hide my face with my hands. Cassie was telling them the story of how I apparently 'Jumped into Josh's arms with love'

No. That was not what happened.

"Stop guys" I groan, my voice muffled against the palms of my hands. "I don't even like him"

"But do you think he's hot?" Sky asks, curiously.

"Well, yeah. But that doesn't mean I like like him" I add quickly. Everyone stares at me while giving each other glances.

"Ugh, can we just change back to our dry clothes now? The wind is starting to pick up and I don't wanna get sick" I tell them, hopefully changing the subject as I do.

"Fine. But we're talking about this later" Sky points at me then randomly pokes my face.

Josh's POV

"I saw what you did there" Dylan smirks as we make our way to our cabin.

I raise and eyebrow at his direction. "What are you talking about?"

"Seriously?" He rolls his eyes and scoffs. "That girl, Jessica. Smooth by the way"

"Okay, she fell into the water on accident"

"You should totally ask her to sit with us at dinner or something" He says, nodding.

Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt.

~Dinner~

I see Jess walking into the mess hall with three other girls, who I recognize from my group. I ask Dylan to come with me for moral support. And also because I saw him eyeing Cassie, I think her name is a while back.

"Hey, Jess!" I call out to her. She sees me then waves back. I walk up to her and ask,

"Do you guys wanna sit with us?"

"Well actual-"

"Yeah, we'd love too!" One of them pipes in, interrupting Jess' sentence.

"Cool. We'll see you soon I guess" I send Jess a cheeky wink before walking back to our table.

Jess' POV

I watch Josh walk away casually with his friend Dylan giving him a hi-five. Did he really just wink at me?

I turn my head to face Sky and glare. I cannot believe she said yes to sitting with them. She shrugs, grinning a bit while we get our food.

We make our way to Josh's table and notice that only him, Dylan and Tiffany were there. Everyone one took their seats and of course they left the only seat I didn't want.

Right next to Josh.

It's good to know I have such great friends.

No. Just no.

I slide the seat back against the tiled floors and sit. It was quite awkward at first, considering a they all didn't know Tiffany or Dylan every well but a few minutes in, we were all making conversation with each other. Dylan was talking with Cassie, Tiffany was talking with Sky and Clove while I was talking to Josh.

We have a lot in common actually. I find out that we both have a similar music taste, which was really cool. And the best part... We both love musicals!-And yes, High School Musical does also count.

We didn't realize the time, so when the instructors tell us to go to our cabins, we were a little disappointed.

"We'll see you guys tomorrow I guess" I smile over at Josh.

He smiles back but looks like he's zoned out a bit.

"Why are you staring at me?" I ask, raising one eyebrow in the process.

"Because you're beautiful" He whispers, making my cheeks burn a bright crimson red.

"You're such a dork" I shove his arm playfully and roll my eyes.

"Eh, I try. See ya tomorrow Jess" He pulls me into a unsuspecting hug and brings me to his chest. I hug back, surprisingly and we pull away shortly after.

"Ahh, yeah. See you soon" I turn my back to him and enter my cabin. As I walk in, the other girls were huddling against the window. Were they spying on us?!

"We're you fricking spying on me and Josh?!" I gasp, causing them to jump back in shock.

"Maybe..." Cassie replies as I tap my foot on the floor. "Ugh! Okay fine. We were spying on you. But you can blame us!"

"You guys are just so cute!" Sky and Clove squeal together. They turn to each other before saying,

"Twinsies"

I swear they have telepathy or some crazy shit.

"Whatever. That still doesn't mean you watch whatever Josh and I do"

"You seemed to really enjoy that hug though" Sky smirks, causing me to glare with rosy red cheeks.

God I hate these people.

"Can we drop this now? Please?" I basically plead.

"Okay"

"Mkay"

"Fine"

"Good. Now who brought fucking candy?" I ask pointing to the open bag of skittles on the bed.

I wake up with a loud knock on our wooden door.

"Girls, you have thirty minutes to get ready!" One of the camp instructors yell.

"God can that guy shut up? Some people are still sleeping" Sky grumbles, grabbing her extra pillow and chucking it at the door.

"Well someone's not a morning person" I chuckle while retrieving the pillow.

"Well, who fucking is?! And how are you wide awake at like 6:00?" She asks as she grubs her face.

"Cause I just am"

"Eh, at least I'm better that those bitches" She points to the other two who are still sleeping.

"Wait a sec" She tells me, snickering under her breath. She walks up to Clove and leans next to her ear.

"WAKE UP MOTHERFUCKER!" She yells, making Clove's eyes open and she bolts up, hitting her head on the top of the bunk in the process.

"Oops" Sky giggles.

Guess what... ITS FINALLY THE HOLIDAYS! Well in Australia it is, so expect more updates. I was so happy to sleep in but my stupid mind made my wake up at 7! Fuck 7 in the morning!
