     *Salem, Massachusetts - July 19th, 1692*

A pit was dug from the ground, about six foot deep in Salem's forest. The cold air swayed through the pile of corpses, the smell of death already lingering in the air. Though only seven women were in the pit, they were carelessly thrown into like trash, discarded and forgotten to the world. Margaret and Abigael were the last two to be thrown in, their bodies were just slung in, without a care in the world.

However, Abigael was different from the other bodies. Where they were hanged their necks were raw red and snapped, but Abigael's neck held no such markings. As if her flawless skin hadn't been touched by rope. They had been dead for hours and roasted in the sun as they were hung on the tree, a reminder to the town that if they were found guilty of Witchcraft, this would happen.

Abigael shot up, gasping as she inhaled the toxic air but she welcomed the oxygen to her lunges. Her eyes wide as panic crossed her face, as she frantically turned her head around the pit. She was on a pile of bodies, of rotting bodies, and they squished under her. The memories of what happened came flooding back, her eyes began to tear and soon fell freely down her face. But through the tears she noticed her Mothers decaying body.

"Mother!" Her voice was low, as she reached forward, and grabbed her Mother. She held the same red mark around her neck. "No, no!" Her heart was breaking even more, many questions running through her mind but her focus was on her. Abigael holds her Mother close, caresses her hair as she whimpers. She was in pain, she was in agony over the death. But she was also full of hatred towards the people who were responsible. Her Mother's coven, the townspeople of Salem, but most of all Pauline. Anger and hate filled her heart, her bones and blood, she wanted her revenge on all the people who did this...

Suddenly, two deep voices rang freely in the night air, alerting Abigael to their approach. She didn't want to leave, she didn't want her Mother to end like this, and she wasn't going too. The last tears fell, her expression turned into anger, allowing her mother to be set back onto the other bodies. With wanting to get out of the pit, and thinking of getting out. Black smoke crawled up her body and engulfed her and within seconds she was behind the men who were now towering over the hole.

"You took everything!" Abigael roared, startling the men as they spun around as fast as they could. Their eyes widened in fear, they were already trembling. But she noticed the iron in their hand as they were going to set them aflame and watch as they burned. The thought of her mother burning enraged her.

"Incendia!" She yells, thrusting her hand out towards the men. They both caught on fire, flames sprouting freely from every orifices of their body. They were engulfed, and screamed in agony, but that only lasted a few seconds as they fell forward dead. She watched as they withered away, embers floating up into the night sky. Abigael had just killed two people, both far from being innocent. But the bloodlust only would grow from this point on. Her eyes glazed over the motionless men, as they were long dead. With a clench of her fist in anger, the fire died, in mere seconds. Only leaving their charred bodies, both unrecognizable. The stench of death waved through the air, but it didn't bother Abigael one bit.

She walks closer to the edge of the pit and peered inside of the hole, finding her Mother's body peaceful looking. She dropped to her knees, as she let out an agonizing scream. It echoed throughout the forest, birds flew from the trees once again. But the pain didn't stop, it would spread into every vein in her body. She belated out another scream, but it will never bring her mother back, and she will have to live with that.

She just wanted to hold her mother, as if her will had a mind of its own. Margaret was engulfed in black smoke, fading from the pit and reforming into her daughter's hold. Abigael didn't question it, she just held her Mother close, cradling her corpse. But she had to sort this mess out. She used her powers to magically move the two bodies into the pit, and set it aflame. Allowing it to set aflame to everyone within. She couldn't watch her own mother burn by her hands, she deserved a correct burial. Abigael watched as the flames grew higher...

Abigael sat for hours, her mother in her arms, sweeping the loose brown hairs out of her face. Not wanting to let her go, and the tears did not stop flowing. Her cheeks were rosy due to the cold, but she was numb to the core, not wanting to feel anything right now. The fire dwindled away, and was completely put out, only the bitter smoke floated into the air. On the horizon, Abigael noticed the sun coming up, the sunlight piercing her vision, but she was still numb, her mind reeling with everything that had happened.

Abigael found the strength to stand to her feet, her Mother in her grip, carrying her bridal style. The town folk would come check, and so would the Grand Coven. With the thought of home in her mind, Abigael was caught in a black fog of smoke, engulfing both her and Margaert. Seconds passed, and the smoke had vanished into thin air, as if it was never there, and the burning stench waved through the forest, and lingered through the air. People will believe that Abigael and Margaert were truly dead.

Revenge was bitter-sweet, it might feel good for a whole five minutes, but Abigael wanted justice, and she will get it. Even if it's the last thing she does...

A/N
Sorry it's a short chapter guys, but I just felt like I needed to write this for Abigael. Not only witnessing her Mother's death, she was on the road to revenage, and we all know it never ends well. Also, this book is a slow burn into getting with either of the Winchester men, I haven't decided who I want her with.
