13: It's Not That Easy

Natsuo's pov:

I climbed into his horse drawn carriage. Where he tied my wrist to the bat on the ceiling inside. My legs were then shackled to the seat. With a window view outside. I stared off in the distance. Where I imagined a life with keigo. Only to hear father.

"I'll be right back. Gotta drain the lizard."

The sound of water soon stops. Before getting heavy like a bottle pouring out.

"Dad, what are you-"

*TING CLINK CLI- TING TINK!*

The sound of amo being dumped out of a gun, is soon followed by him getting in the drivers seat.

"What did you do? I sear if you hurt him I'll-"

"You'll what? You are in no position to argue with me."

The sound of a gun loading soon answers my question. As he put not just any gun in my face, but Keigo's beautiful purl colored handle revolver in my face.

"I could kill you right now, and tomorrow have another wife with children to carry my name on. The only reason I have tried with you for so long is because you're---"

Keigo's pov:

I awoke to find myself alone. Natsuo was gone and so was my gun, food, clothes, and water. The only thing left was my bullets. I wrapped the blanket around my waist and searched for answers. That's when I discovered the both horses were gone. Tire tracks are all that remained in the sand.

"Natsu what happened?"

I asked out loud. Hoping he would answer. I left the cave to follow the tracks. Only for a dust storm to blind me. I used the blanket to filter the air from sand. Yet it didn't help. In a coughing fit, I collapsed to the ground. With blurry vision, I thought I saw someone coming.

The sound of a rattle cut threw my dreamless slumber. I opened my eyes to see what may be my death looking back at me.
