PLEASE READ
First of all, I want to apologize for all the sudden changes. I know that in Dirty Little Secret, some things wasn't realistic or doesn't make sense but I would like for everyone to know that Dirty Little Secret was only the second book I've ever written and honestly I didn't know it would get THIS big but I do appreciate everyone who has stuck around through it all.
Secondly, I also want to apologize for making it seem like Chloe is a slut (according to an angry reader who messaged me and will not be named.) That's not what I intended for, in the story. I just got caught up in everything and like I said, it was only my second book.
Lastly, things WILL be DIFFERENT in this book. So people and things will be changed; not everything (if anything) will be the same as in Dirty Little Secret. If you're not willing to go with the flow and like the change, I suggest you stop reading. I'm not upset, I am just forewarning everyone.
Thank you all. Now back to reading(:

"How was your classes today?" Veronica asks, smiling as she sits her notebook down next to mine on the table.
"They were fine. Straight A's baby!" I squeal, clapping my hands together.
"Please be quiet!" Ms. Stiles silences me from across the library. Ms. Stiles is one of those really sweet old ladies who work at a library but she is also very strict; always shushing the loud people and disciplining the rules of the beloved dewy decimal system.
"Well then," Veronica giggles quietly, noticing Ms. Stiles glare. "That's great, though! Great job, nerd." She winks at me and I just shrug. I'd rather be smart than dumb, wouldn't you?
"I'm surprised I'm passing math, though. It's insane." I sigh, slightly tapping the pink eraser of my pencil against my blank sheet of paper. My eyes scan the math problems that are due by tomorrow and I can't even begin to think that I'll be able to finish all twenty-five of them.
"Really? Math is easy! Here," she takes my papers and starts jotting down answers. In a matter of ten minutes she finishes all twenty-five problems when it would've took me at least three hours to finish them all.
"Oh my gosh, you are the best! Thank you so much!" I squeal again, earning another glare from Ms. Stiles. I apologize silently and she just sighs before returning back to her book.
"It was no problem, really." Veronica gives me a reassuring smile as we shove our binders and books into our backpacks.
"What are you? Some sort of math whizz?" I ask as we walk out of the library and into the bustling streets of New York. The aroma of grease from hot dogs and funnel cakes, waft throughout the city.
"I chose math teacher as my minor. I'm majoring in art and design." She shrugs, kicking a pebble as we walk.
"You're good at math and art? I'm not good at anything!" I pout as we finally reach the dorms. I love living in New York because you can just walk pretty much everywhere.
"You're such a liar! You're really good at singing!" Veronica slightly shoves me as we walk to the second floor where our dorm is located.
"What on earth compelled you with such a conception?" I furrow my eyebrows and shut the door behind us.
"I heard you singing in the shower this morning." She lays down on her bed, pulling a magazine from the bedside table and flipping through the sleek pages.
"I'm honestly not good. It's just a hobby; not something useful." I admit, sitting on my bed while pulling my pillow onto my lap, picking at the fringe at the seams.
"Well if you're not going to agree with me, at least agree that you're really good at English." She throws her stuffed tiger at me and it hits me in the forehead.
"Fine, I will agree with you on that. I must be somewhat good at it, considering its my minor." I throw the stuffed tiger back at her and she catches it swiftly.
"Do you wanna dye your hair with me?" She pulls a box of dye from the drawer of her bedside table and shakes it with a smirk plastered on her face.
"I don't know. I've never dyed my hair before." I bite my bottom lip nervously.
"I have two boxes: one is blond dye and the other is red. Take a chance, it'll be fun!" She squeals while jumping out of bed and putting the boxes behind her back.
"Whichever one you choose, my hair will be dyed and whichever one I'm left with, I will dye you hair." Veronica smiles, eyeing my boring brown hair.
"Fine," I sigh, finally giving in. I point to her left hand and it turns out Veronica is no longer going to be brunette like me, she's going to be a red head. And I'm going to be blond. Oh God.
"Have you ever dyed hair before?" I ask, watching closely as Veronica squirts the ammonia-smelling liquid into my hair.
"Yeah, several times. I use to dye my sisters hair all kinds of funky colors." She laughs while emptying the bottle onto my hair.
"How long does it have to stay in?" We look at ourselves in the mirror and can't help but to giggle at how goofy we look with our drenched hair piled atop our heads and towels draped over our shoulders.
"About forty to fifty minutes." She says, reading the back of the box slowly.
After the timer goes off and Veronica rinses out the dye, I quickly rip the towel from my head, excited to see my new hair. I admire myself in the mirror. I look like a completely different person. My green eyes pop even more than with my brown hair.
"You look great!" Veronica squeals, revealing her own hair.
"You too!!" I smile at her.
My phone starts ringing and I notice I'm getting a FaceTime call from Ethan. I quickly swipe it to answer and his face flashes on my screen.
"Ethan, hey!" I smile really big. He furrows his eyebrows at me, well technically the camera on his phone.
"What did you do to your hair?" He's speaks in a flat tone. My mood instantly diminishes.
"I, um, I dyed it. Do you like it?"
"No, not exactly." He says disapprovingly.
