"Good morning," Ethan greets me with a kiss as my eyes flutter open.
"Hello," I whisper, smiling. "How are you?"
"I, for one, am fantastic. And yourself?" He speaks sweetly and my smile widens.
"I'm great." I roll over and curl under the plush sheets, getting closer to Ethan.
"Your neck is purple," Ethan whispers as he attaches his lips to my neck. I wince at the pain his lips are applying, despite him being gentle.
"It's your fault. You kept biting it last night."
"Hey, you liked it." I can feel him smirking against my skin.
"True, I did like it." I admit, even though he already knows.
"I guess we need to get up and get dressed and make our way back to the dorm so we can get your stuff together. You don't need to be late for work today." Ethan shuffles out of bed and pulls his boxers up his legs. I wrap the bed sheet around me as I get up, keeping myself covered as I search for my clothes.
Ethan and I get dressed and make our way down the stairs. Sleeping bodies line the staircase as we make our way down. We're careful not to step on them or wake them. We finally get through the front door and there are red cups and trash scattered all over the lawn and porch.
"How are we suppose to get back to your dorm?" I ask Ethan, remembering that we came here with Sydney and her boyfriend, as we start walking down the sidewalk.
"We can take a bus," he explains and I nod as he intertwines his fingers with mine.
When we finally reach the dorm I can feel my stomach growling in hunger. "What do you have to eat?"
"We have cereal and Ramen," Ethan says placing the box of cereal on the table. I smile at the box of cookie crips: my favorite.
I pour a bowl for Ethan and I. "Last night was great, by the way." Ethan speaks up, gulping the milk from his bowl.
"It was." I nod in agreement, spooning more cereal into my mouth.
"I need to shower," I tell Ethan as I grab my work clothes. By the time I get back to New York it'll be time for me to go to work.
"Okay, the towels and wash cloths are in the linen closet. I'm gonna clean up the place for a bit." He smiles at me and I return it.
I turn on the hot water and steam quickly fills the bathroom as I get undressed. The water slightly scolds my skin as I step under the water. It relaxes me and I close my eyes while rubbing some shampoo into my hair. After about thirty minutes, I feel as if I'm just being leisurely about the whole thing so I turn off the water and begin drying myself before getting dressed.
I put some mousse in the palms of my hands and bend over so my hair is dangling over the towel. I begin scrunching my hair when I hear the front door open. Sydney must be home. "What a great goodbye present," I mentally groan.
I shove my toothbrush in my mouth and quickly brush my teeth. I hear Ethan mumbling and Sydney mumbling even louder. I just roll my eyes. I really don't like that girl. I just get bad vibes from her. I'm glad Ethan can control himself and is faithful to me.
I apply my daily eyeliner and rub some lip balm on my lips. I gather all my things and twist open the doorknob open. All of my stuff quickly falls out of my arms and into the floor when I see Sydney's face attached to Ethan's.
"What the hell!" I try to scream but my voice just comes out low and harsh.
Ethan pushes Sydney off of him and his eyes get wide as he sees me. I don't even wait for an explanation before grabbing my bag, leaving my items in the floor, and slamming the front door behind me, cracking the wood in the process. Ethan runs after me and when he jerks my arm, I curl my free hand into a fist and clock him right in the jaw.
