*Ethan's POV*

"Evi forgave me and she says that she's excited to see me during thanksgiving next week." Colton explains while we order some tacos.

"That's great man. I know you're really happy about that." I pat him on the back and take my tray to the table. Colton follows behind me and we take our seats.

"Thanks, I'm really happy actually. I feel like my life is looking up." I nod while digging into my taco.

"So, has Chloe called yet?" Colton speaks up. We haven't talked since Saturday. It's Tuesday. I miss her like crazy. It's killing me to not speak to her. It's driving me nuts not to see her beautiful smile.

"No," I say softly, wanting to avoid the subject but I know that Colton isn't going to drop it anytime soon.

"I'm sure she'll come around. What if she's waiting on you to call her?" Colton asks and I shrug.

"I seriously doubt it, man. You didn't see how pissed she was at me. There was hatred and hurt flaming in her eyes when she stormed away." I pout, taking a sip of my Coke.

"Aw, c'mon, Ethan. Seriously bro, you two have been through worse shit than this and you've both overcome it and now you're gonna let her saying that the two are done stop you from talking to her? You know better than that." Colton gives a somewhat motivational speech and I honestly agree. We have been through hell and back. This is baby stuff compared to past experiences.

"Yeah, you're right. I'll call her tonight. I'm tired of missing her. I want to see her and to be with her." I admit. If this were anyone else but Colton I wouldn't be saying shit. But ever since Colton spilled his entire feelings and emotions out to me, I feel like I can also be vulnerable and trusting toward him.

"Good. I'll even come to your dorm and give moral support if you'd like." Colton offers and I shrug.

"Sure, if you want. Hopefully Sydney will be out banging Oliver or one of her several boy toys." I remark harshly. Frankly, I don't even care if Sydney and I ever have anything more than a roommate relationship because she most certainly isn't my friend. She fucked up mine and Chlo's relationship and she hasn't even had the balls to apologize or even come back to the dorm after I blew up on her. I'd be hella lucky if she registered for a new roommate.

"I still can't believe she didn't apologize." Colton scoffs, chowing down on his enchilada.

"She's a hot girl who thinks she can do whatever she wants. I'm honestly not surprised she didn't apologize. However, I hope to God she registers for a new roommate because I refuse to be friendly to her."

"That's understandable. So are you going home for thanksgiving or what?" He asks.

"I'm not sure yet. Before Chloe and I 'broke up' we had plans of renting a hotel somewhere at the beach in one of the Carolinas and just get away from everyone for a few days but now I have no idea what's going to happen." I admit. I wish and hope with all my heart, if Chloe even forgives me, that we can still go to the beach and have a good time because she deserves a break from stress and drama and worry and school. She deserves more than the whole world.

"I'm sure something good will come out of you call to her tonight." Colton reassures me and I nod briefly before getting up to throw my trash away. Colton and I head back to my dorm and see Sydney packing her things as we arrive.

She glares at me for a second before shoving her blankets into a box.

"Got your wish," Colton whispers to me and I nod. I decide to completely ignore Sydney's presence and turn on the tv and start up my xbox.
