The flames were intense. A feeling of immense heat that grew and grew until he felt nothing at all. The pain was gone. Just a smell of burning flesh that pressed against his nostrils.
It bombarded him, consuming his thoughts until the pain returned. It wasn't heat anymore. It was cold. An agonizing chill that enveloped him and squeezed with immeasurable force. First it ran up his legs, his abdomen, his chest, then finally his head. Until he was about to explode, his body erupting into a fiery blaze. He burned and burned until only a pile of ash remained.
