Tommy could watch his cat for hours jump between the furniture of his house. The cabinets. The sofa. The bed. The dresser. Kitchen counters. Televisions on the wall. Anything and everything was an obstacle to be climbed, and he did it all without ever touching the floor.
Tommy never understood why. Was there something wrong with the floor? Did it hurt his tiny cat paws? Or did he just do it for fun?
Curious, Tommy picked up his cat and put him on the floor. The cat shrieked and melted while sinking. As it turned out, the floor was lava.
