The last thing the princess wanted was to be rescued from the dragon. She ran away, but the king never believed that. He sent knight after knight to slay the beast and bring the princess home. They all failed, devoured whole by the dragon.
The princess didn't think much when the latest knight arrived completely covered in armor. But the knight won! Killed the dragon and offered to take the princess home. She refused to go, until the knight removed her helmet and revealed her long, flowing red hair. The smitten princess smiled. She had never seen someone so beautiful.
