If there's one thing I've learned during my time on this planet it's that life is cruel and unforgiving. It's not the heartaches and tragedies that do the most damage. It's the happy times. The fond memories of playing with my wife and children. Because that's all they are. Memories.
If only there were some way to capture them. To record them somewhere other than my mind, which is inconsistent and prone to mistakes. I wish for a device, or magic perhaps, that could take the sights and sounds I love and replay them on demand. Wouldn't that be nice?
