John's life didn't go as planned. He had no wife, kids, or friends. Even his job was a drain. He would spend hours in a cubicle and stare at a computer screen until his mind went numb. All he really had was his lunch break. One single hour a day when he sat on a park bench and felt free as he ate his sandwich.
Until one day, when a mysterious and magical portal opened in front of him. Why was it here? Where did it go? John didn't care. He stepped through anyway. What did he have to lose?
