After few days, I felt better. I walk around the Tower, still having a cloth around me supporting my arm and the shoulder. The pain is still there, but it isn't as bad as the two first days. I have the painkillers for it. "WHAT!? He really said that!?" Lola screams out of happiness. I'm now in Lola's office, just told her what me and Steve talked about having a date. Got nothing better to do than hangout in her office and watch her working. She seems so happy about the news. "Have you talked with Tony yet?" she knows what happened with Tony and me. "No, I guess we both avoid each other." I'm sitting on her desk. "That's a shame..." she's taps fast something on her laptops keyboard. We talk little bit more before I left from her office.

For my surprise, Barnes walks in a hallway. "Hey, (Y/N). How is it going?" his eyes goes to my arm support. "I've been better." I give him a tiny smile. He smiles back. Then he walks past me, about to continue his way. "James..." I call after him. He turns to look at me. "On Friday... Why didn't you go on your date Steve had arranged?" I keep looking at him. He stays silent for a bit:"I wasn't interested.". "Did you tell her that? Or did you make her wait, thinking there was going to be a date and never showed up?" I ask. I'll be so angry if he did. "I did tell her. I'm not an asshole." he seems slightly hurt by I was even thinking that. I nod and start walking on my way. "Oh, by the way..." he continue. I turn around:"Hm?". "You should be careful where you fall asleep. It was difficult to carry you into your own room... You move a lot in your sleep." he teases. Then he left, leaving me staring after him in light shock. So it was him!?

Ran into Tony in the living room few hours after seen Barnes. The whole atmosphere feels so awkward. We both have avoided each other after he lectured me. "(Y/N)." he starts. At first, I start to walk away from him, but he calls after me again. Then I stop and turn to face him, keeping straight face. Tony never really apologized anything. Ever. Or at least not to me. Usually I just sweep this kind of thing under the rug, but not this time. "Look... I didn't mean what I said." he's so awkward about this. Cross my arm over my chest, which is difficult to do with the arm support on. He sighs deep:"You really make me do this?". Keeping my mouth shut, just listening. "Okay, I was wrong. I'm sorry what I said. I need yo-, the Avengers needs you. Everyone needs you." he struggles with his words.

I give him a smirk:"It wasn't that bad, now was it?". He mutters something to himself as I walk towards him. "I care about you too." giving him a gentle smile. He then pulls me into a gentle hug, careful not to touch my left shoulder. Well this is new... "Good." he pats couple times on my back before taking a step back. "Where are the tissues when I need them?" Natasha teases further away. Tony jumps a bit:"Jesus, how long you have been standing there!?". "Hi Nat!" I greet her with smile. "(Y/N). You, me and the guys. Tonight, pub. You in?" she walks towards us. "Sounds fun!" getting excited. "No, no, (Y/N) is still recovering." Tony points his finger at us. I give him the 'are you serious'- look. He clears his throat:"Fine. But don't be too late." and walks away. "Yes, father." Nat smirks.

Later that evening, Nat and Wanda helped me to curl my hair and put on some clothes over the arm support. I have on some high waist jeans and black, long sleeve shirt with scoop neckline. Dark brown leather jacket and boots are waiting beside my bed. We got music playing and some drinks on the desk. I could have couple drinks, but not so much I'll throw up, so my painkillers won't go to waste. "You girls ready?" Sam came on to my doorstep. "Looking good, Sammy!" I wink at him. "Are the others ready?" Nat ask. "Yeah, they are waiting on you downstairs." he point his thump over his shoulder. "Guess we're ready then." Nat quickly takes a look in the mirror before leaving. She looks so good! She's wearing black jeans and blue, shoulders off shirt. Wanda is still so young to come with us, but she likes to hang out with us before us leaving.
